Attended a beautiful wedding in the courtyard and reception in the banquet room. The event was very well put together by the hotel team. Banquet room was nice, large, clean and we had room to move and dance. Food was plentiful and delicious. The wait staff, cooks, bartenders did a phenomenal job. Would highly recommend this hotel again.

I am a Choice Privileges Gold Rewards Member, I booked a room several days in advance of arrival and specifically requested accommodations for a room in a quiet location on the main floor (I am a light sleeper), we checked in around 4:30-5pm, to start off, the TV had a buzzing noise that was very annoying, immediately after we moved all of our luggage and stuff into the room I heard dogs barking, yes, barking dogs were in a room across the hall and 2 rooms down from ours, every time someone would walk by in the hallway or use the exit door the dogs would go ballistic and you could hear the dogs owners trying to shut them up, then the dog owners left their dogs locked up in the room while they were gone ! I could not believe that a 3 star motel would even allow dogs to stay in the rooms, I am a dog lover and overall I like pets, animals, nature, etc, but there is a time and place for everything. I was not going to pay $139 for a room and set myself up to have to tolerate a disturbing experience during my stay, how could the motel staff would agree to accommodate my request for a room in a quiet area and then give me a room across the hall from barking dogs? I went to the front desk and complained to the assistant supervisor "Devon" who offered to move me to a different room, I asked if I would have to experience the same inconvenience and have to be moved again or if I would be given the type of room that I originally requested and was assured to receive in the first place, Devon offered me an upgraded room and helped in moving our stuff from one room to the other. The upgraded room was nice and quiet, the TV did not have a buzzing noise like the other one did and we slept very well. Although we do appreciate the manner in which Devon handled the situation I have learned from this experience, I will always ask if the motel allows dogs and I will always request, with as much advance notice as possible, a room far away from any room with dogs (which should be par for the course anyway when requesting a room in a quiet location of the motel, away from sources of noise, vending machines, ice machines, stairwells, elevators, exit doors, etc., etc). The free breakfast featured coffee, juice, bagels, donuts, cereal, yogurt, fruit, waffle maker, eggs, sausage, etc., (standard/common with most motels), the area was clean and presentable but the quality of the scrambled eggs and breakfast meat was below average, McDonalds would be an upgrade or go to Bob Evans for a better experience. I don't mean to sound like a complainer, I'm just telling it like it is, the room was very nice and clean, including the bathroom, the bed was extremely comfortable and we are satisfied with our stay on a Friday night but had to go through some initial setbacks and inconveniences before being satisfied. My advice to travelers is to check in as early as possible to make sure that your room is as requested and/or to see if you notice barking dogs or will have similar noisy neighbors, it's easier for the staff to move you to a different room before it gets late and before everyone else checks in which in turn will limit their options. This is our go to place when in town. Always clean and quiet. Staff is always kind and so willing to help with anything!

Nice clean room, friendly staff and a comfortable bed. Offered coffee even though I was a late arrival and couldn't make it to breakfast. Has a designated pet area to walk your furry kids.

Room was decent with an alright price. Good breakfast selection and the front desk people were mostly pleasant. However...our housekeeper was terrible and never actually cleaned the room and took out the trash, etc. We would come back with trash still full and just the beds made and towels replaced. No sign of any other attempt to clean. Bugs in the bathroom. Stains on towels and hand towels and sheets. Worker at the breakfast area was rude. Courtyard is poorly placed. People were out playing football at 11pm and hitting our window to our room with their ball. Husband asked them to stopped and they informed him they didn't have to, and we had children trying to sleep. Didn't visit the pool so no comment.
