Unfortunately, there was no pool at this location. The room itself was quite nice and very clean. All of the downstairs rooms had a sliding glass door to the parking lot which made access so easy! Unfortunately, the lock on ours didn't work but it did have a bar lock installed. There was a mini fridge and a microwave. The beds were slightly creaky, but quite comfortable. They were quite busy the night we went, but as soon as our doors were closed it became soundproof.
Arrival to Comfort Inn was easy and they had many parking spots around the property. The outside was kept clean and maintained.nThe afternoon staff at the front desk was welcoming and friendly. The inside of the Inn was clean and bright. There was no elevator, so reaching the second floor by stairs can be an issue if you have heavy luggage.nThe side exit doors can be re-entered with room key, which is nice when you don't want to walk all the way around to the front.nBreakfast was nice, but was crowded in the morning after 7:30. I suggest going early and taking it to your room. There are plenty of food options from three different types of cereal, two different bread types, croissants and muffins, bacon or sausage depending on the day omelets and hasbrowns. There's also a selection of teas to pick from, milk and orange juice too, however, the coffee isn’t great.nThe morning staff at the front deck wasn't very friendly. I went with my kids and we said good morning to them but they completely ignored us. The rest of the staff, cleaning in particular, were friendly and helpful.
We travelled to the Comfort Inn Sept. 23 - 25 and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by it since it is on the lower end of pricing for hotels in the area. We had a top floor room closer to the highway and I was worried there would be a lot of traffic noise but the room was very quiet, and clean In fact the entire hotel seemed very clean. The bed was super comfortable. The staff at the front desk were polite. My one real complaint would be the free breakfast, I know it is hard to complain about a free breakfast, but this one is just lacking in variety. I don't think I would hesitate booking this hotel again.
This stay was unpleasant to say the least. Upon entering the building, we were greeted by a gentleman who was a little too friendly for our liking. It didn’t get much better when we entered our rooms…the room smelled like cigarettes, there was a used tissue on the floor, and the bathroom had dirty towels & dirt in the bathtub. At this point I felt as though this was the worst it could get. But, I was wrong. Apparently, a midnight fire drill was on the itinerary, who knew? And better yet, another test run the next morning! What a thrill.
It’s a comfy place! Walk out rooms on the ground level are very convenient for loading/unloading. Staff were very friendly, the room was clean, not immaculate, but clean. Quick access to the highway and lots of food, etc.
