Great place to stay! We had a double bedroom. The beds were clean and smelled fresh. Bathroom was clean and hot water runs great. We checked in in the wee hours of the morning and they treated us as early check in instead and gave us the room overnight for a full 36 hours. There is a free breakfast buffet that comes with the room. Simple but will fill your stomach. The usual scramble eggs, sausage, bacon and pastry with free coffee and tea.nnOverall we had a pleasant experience.
Only stayed a night. When it had been previously -20's out. The a/c would not shut off in my room, I unplugged it. The bathroom door would not close/latch. Had the continental breakfast. They served raw seasoned potatoes. Cold cheese omelettes and cold sausage patties. I tried explaining this to the attendant, but they didn't seem to care. Didn't take her ear buds out to even listen.nnBut the room was clean and there are a lot of fast food around there, groceries, and we didn't have any noise from the 401.
Met our needs and expectations for the night. Travelled into town for a conference and stayed a single night. The driveway was not plowed but the room was clean. There was a vehicle in the parking lot that kept revving and running their engine from 4am onwards which we could hear and not sleep through from the second story so sound may be an issue but otherwise not bad.
It wasn't the best stay. Very minimal amenities. No luggage carts. No pack and plays or cribs for infants. There wasn't a stopper in the bathtub and they weren't able to offer one. We were offered to change rooms in the evening however having a baby that was inconvenient. Bath stoppers are 1.00 at the dollar store. Candy wrappers under the bed and a large draft from the window. Free parking is nice. The beds were comfortable. The linen was clean.nnIn the morning two random staff members walked into our room. No knock. Just unlocked the door and walked in. It was an hour before check out time. By then I had enough and called to complain to the manager.nnUpdate: The manager offered us 1 night stay refunded and was very empathetic to our complaint. I still will not return however wanted to acknowledge the fact that the manager did what she could to remedy the situation to the best of her ability.
I stayed here for a few days after a house fire with my pet. The staff were so friendly and lovely during such a scary, uncertain time in my life. By the end of my stay it actually felt like home. The staff and the welcoming accommodations turned something dark into a positive memory for me! Thank you all!
