100% difference since we were last there! All rooms are being completely renovated and I’d say are comparable to, if not better than, any hotel in Belleville. I think just over 1/2 the rooms are done now and they’re working through all of them. Really really well done. It was absolutely needed but everything is brand new. Looking forward to my next visit as they were just starting on the common spaces which also is much needed and they are following through. Hope the breakfast area gets the same love. Congratulations
nWe stayed at the Comfort Inn Belleville for two nights during OFSAA basketball in November with a group of 15, and the staff—especially Maya, Mitch, Dee, and the whole team—made it an outstanding experience. The hotel itself is older and currently being upgraded, but the service easily lifts it far above its 2-star rating. The breakfast buffet was great, and the team’s constant attention to customer service was second to none. I even left a valuable blazer behind and didn’t realize until Monday after checkout—they had kept it safe, packaged it with care, and mailed it back to me at minimal cost. Thanks to the incredible staff, I would stay here again and again.nnThank you again!
This place is an absolute dump. The rooms smell like raw sewage and I would know, because my employer has put me in several different rooms here over the last four weeks. Every single one had the same awful smell. There was hair left in the sinks and showers from previous guests, which tells you exactly how well the rooms are being “cleaned.”nnEvery morning I woke up with a stuffy nose and a clogged throat, likely from mold or whatever else is growing in these rooms. On top of that, they’re doing renovations, so you get to listen to workers banging and doing demo work until almost midnight. Good luck getting any sleep.nnSome mornings they don’t even serve breakfast because their cook didn’t show up. And even when breakfast is available, don’t bother drinking their coffee the creamers are expired most of the time.nnThis hotel is absolutely disgusting from top to bottom. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
Phoned here to get a room for our daughter...they would not allow us to book because we were not there..even though she is a responsible 19 year old with id....we were lucky enough to be helped at the BEST WESTERN where they went above and beyond to help...will not be booking here and passing this on to family and friends. Disgusting service that does not care about people driving in bad weather. Stay away
First room I had smelled strongly of cigarettes and second one the door latch lock was broken off. Overall didn’t feel like the safest place despite staff being nice and accommodating. Very rowdy next door guests made it difficult to sleep
