Good atmosphere, food was good. Service was awful. The Bartender who was helping wait our table of 20 was arrogant and condescending. Additionally, he told our group that we would have to quiet down, I guess we were being too noisy when we had to talk loud enough to even hear ourselves over the loud music and everyone else in the bar. It's Saturday night & was a birthday event, What do you expect? We were in no way rude or disrespectful to the staff or anyone around us. If I could go back and change anything about the experience, I'd have not left a tip on that experience. Might have been a better experience if we had gone sometime during the day for lunch or dinner. 2/5 - wont be recommending to anyone and will not be returning.

They were out of or no longer offered a number of items on their menu. The food we ordered wad just okay, nothing special and some of it was cold. Good service, atmosphere, and range of beer offerings though.

One of our favourite pubs in Nanaimo. Good service, good food, excellent patio!
