Stumbled upon this great little spot in Nanaimo while visiting the Island. Quick and short drive from Departure Bay. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Great ambiance. The food and coffee were great and arrived quickly. Definitely a spot worth a visit.
This was the first spot we visited in Nanaimo, and we chose it specifically because it’s pet-friendly — we were traveling with our dogs and appreciated being able to dine outdoors.nnWe sat on the patio of course!, and while the food was overall good and the area felt like a quiet, tucked-away spot in downtown, we did feel that the staff could have paid more attention to the outdoor diners. Service was a bit slow outside, even though it wasn’t very busy.nnStill, a nice option if you’re looking for a dog-friendly place with a relaxed vibe.
The mt benny and mint iced tea were delicious! Would definitely recommend stopping by when you're in town, just be prepared to wait a few minutes if you're going at brunch as it can be pretty popular on the weekend
