La CDVM (Clinique Dentaire du Vieux Montréal) fut établie en janvier 1988 par le Dr. Michel Kakon au 400, rue St-Jacques Ouest, au cœur du Vieux Montréal. Depuis, la clinique a pris de l’expansion et compte maintenant sept salles opératoires.

Notre équipe se compose de quatre dentistes, un denturologiste, un périodontiste, trois hygiénistes et un personnel d’assistantes et de secrétaires. Le centre dentaire conjugue qualité et efficacité, tout en vous offrant les meilleures options de traitement, dans un environnement sain et une atmosphère agréable.

CDVM (Clinique Dentaire du Vieux Montreal) was established in January 1988 by Dr. Michel Kakon at 400 St-Jacques Street West, in the heart of Old Montreal. Since then, the clinic has expanded from one operatory to seven. Our commitment has always been the same; offering good and honest treatment options to our patients in a safe and pleasant environment.

Today, we are a team of four Dentists, one Denturologist, one Periodontist and three hygienists along with a great staff of assistants and secretaries to always ensure the best possible care for our patients.

As someone who absolutely despises going to the dentist, I cannot say enough good comments about this clinic. The receptionists are always so helpful, the staff is overall great, and Dr Fox is the most compassionate dentist I’ve ever come across.

1. When I transfer to other dentists, I have to call 2-3 times to ask for my X-ray and profile. 2.  I have been with Clinique Dentaire du Vieux Montreal for more than 5 years. Everything is good until 2021 Dec. I did a filling. And there is a problem with the filling it is pretty clear from the X-ray. My current dentist has to re-do it. The process is very painful. I wish they could do it right at first time.

Myself and many of my family members have been coming here quite some time, I'm sure more that 15 years, and everyone that works here is extremely professional, nice, and especially honest. I highly recommend them!

Dr. McGregor is amazing.  I've been  quite fearful of anything to do with dentists!  Well,  after her amazing care,  I'm a new dental patient!  I have found her to be amazingly sensitive in her work and puts one at ease.  I also very much appreciate that she takes dental issues step by step and does not do the most drastic treatment immediately- instead she takes it step by step.

Had bonding done by Dr Kakon. Uneven, yellow and other dentists told me it has to be replaced. He is not a cosmetic dentist.

I've been going to the CDVM for over 15 years and as far as I can remember, the care is and always has been impeccable. All procedures, small or big, are always prefaced with detailed explanations and done gently and carefully. If I leave the clinic without a follow up appointment, I can rest assured that I will be contacted close to my next "supposed" appointment and that I will not fall through the cracks. The office is clean and located centrally with a metro near by.  A big thank you to the whole team who, year after year, ensure that my teeth are clean, strong and healthy!

I was very unsatisfied with the services or lack thereof provided by this clinic. After consulting this clinic for a fractured tooth, I was left 2 months without a follow-up. I presented myself at their office to ask for a follow-up. They could not tell me why I was not contacted. They said they will follow-up with me the following week and still didn't. I had to call again. This is clearly a lack of professionalism. I will not return nor recommand to anyone.

Dr McGregor is just THE BEST DENTIST EVER!! When you start enjoying your appointment at the dentist that just mean everything! She explains and shows you each steps and she is very funny and also a nice singer. I highly recommend her if you are afraid of the dentist. The team is incredibly nice and warm. Superb Client Experience it is my second time her and definitely not the last.

I highly recommend this clinic. Staff is always looking out for you and Dr.Kakon is I'd say,  the best dentist in town! Very gentle and understanding, I am actually excited to go for my next appointment.

would not recommend. when i asked doctor McGregor to give me a white filling she gave me a silver filling. when i pointed out the mistake she kept insisting she had done me a favour. when i called the staff to ask about getting it replaced they were dismissive and impatient. i still feel very frustrated by the service i received. i would have hoped doctor McGregor or her staff would try to remedy the situation but they did not.  * They called me at least twice for years to ask me to come in for a check up even though I asked them to remove me from their call list everytime.
