City Life Cocktail Lounge

I haven't been to a lounge in quite a while. But if I lived in Chicago I would be a regular at this establishment. Good drinks, food and adult vibes. No loud music and older crowd. I love this place. Anxiously awaiting my next visit to Chicago.

The chicken was nice, fried very well. The fries though was absolutely delicious. The only problem I had was they don't season the fries when they take them out the fryer. Instead they give you salt & pepper packets. Which turned out okay since I was working across the street. Still, I would never order fries before going home. By the time I got home my fries would be cold making the seasoning packets useless.

I was there last night with a group of friends and it was standing room only. The food and the drinks off the hook and they're noted for their wings and karaoke on Thursday night but those rib tips are to die for!

MY FRIENDS AND I CAME FROM ST. LOUIS ON A SATURDAY NIGHT AND AS SOON AS WE WALKED IN THE DOOR WE WERE GREETED BY THE ENTIRE BAR!!! THE BARTENDERS AND THE OWNER MADE US FEEL RIGHT AT HOME! IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST EXPERIENCES I'VE HAD GOING OUT OF TOWN AND KICKING IT! THE DJ WAS EVEN AMAZING AND PLAYED NELLY A FEW TIMES TO SHOW LOVE! BEST PLACE EVER!

Drinks was awesome and strong. Music was bumping. Jimmy was playing some classics

The best chicken wings, great DJ, old school music, a spot for grown folks. We shall return often.

Great place to laugh, have drinks and socialize. Thursday night Karaoke is the best. You'll definitely feel welcomed.

Our bartender was excellent. Good food from the kitchen and affordable prices. Great time overall.

My coworkers and I frequently come every other Friday. We are always greeted by Jackie. Nicky and Red make some delicious drinks and the chef in the kitchen really can cook. Everything we've had has been good.
