CIBC Branch & ATM

While making a number of deposits, I asked my teller about how I could make a purchases of more than $1000 when my credit card limit was $1000. (Later, I was informed by a friend that I could transfer extra money into that account and then make the purchase). To travel home, I needed to purchase plane tickets, and to do so online (and save a trip to the airport) I had to use my credit card. Because I am a student, I had an active line of credit open, which I was constantly paying down as I worked throughout my undergrad. The teller glanced at my account, looked at me condescendingly, and loudly stated (for all of the customers to hear) that I should pay off what I owe the bank before I take out more. She did not answer my question.

Was served by an extremly racist young lady. If you are black go find services in another branch! À nightmare for à first and I have to say LAST expérience!!!

Good customer support by telephone and internet, but don't expect anyone to return your call in an emergency from the Branch.

I met Hilary Hurst (advisor) after she contacted me on the phone to discuss my accounts and how she may be able to help. I decided to meet with her, and it was one of the best financial decisions I have ever made. On our first meeting, Hilary did not try to sell me any products, loans, credit cards, or anything of the sort. She spent the majority of the first appointment listening to me, and asking me what my goals are and what is important to me in the short, middle, and long-term. She took the time to understand who I was as a person and as a professional, and would spend time after her work hours to respond to any of my queries, and that made all the difference. Since then, she has helped me organized my business accounts, my personal accounts, my mortgage, my investments, and even helped me connect with professional services that I may need that went beyond her scope. The fact that she takes the time to know who I am, and introduce me to the appropriate specialist when I came to her with a specific issue, it goes to show that she cares about who I am and is invested in my success. This is what immediately separates Hilary from any other advisor, and I have products with 3 major banks, which I am now transferring to CIBC because Hilary has earned my complete trust, and a lifelong customer. She is extremely knowledgeable, caring, hard working, and meticulous. You will be doing yourself a disfavor by not meeting her at least once.
