CIBC Branch with ATM

I've been with CIBC for over 20 years and today I closed all my accounts with them. Their customer service has been getting worse and worse over the years and today topped it all off. I had an appointment booked with a financial advisor. I arrived about 10 minutes late (which is my fault) but when I got there, there was no one at the front to receive me so I had to want in line for the teller. There was only one teller working and the customer they were helping had a lot of things they needed to get done so by the time the teller was free, I was already 25 minutes late for my appointment. (Also, while I'm waiting I see several people just walking around and talking with each other, completely ignoring the customers.) When I get to the teller, I tell her I'm here for my appointment so she calls the advisor. The advisor basically told the teller to help me since their next appointment was coming. I told the teller that I had booked an hour long appointment (so I know for a fact that the advisor was lying). The teller basically told me that I was wrong and that my appointment was only for 30 minutes. I basically had to pull up my confirmation to show her I had an hour long appointment. She disregarded the fact and said that she could close my account for me. So she did. It took about 15 minutes since I had a few things closed. By the time I left, I saw that the advisor's room was still client free (further proof that he had lied about another client coming and helping me). They were all very dry and not friendly at all. Everyone I spoke with (including the financial advisor whom I'd spoken on the phone a day ago) was all very cut and dry. I would not trust them with my finances or that they had my best interests at heart.

I've been here a couple of times and each time they give me a hard time to access my accounts. They have horrible customer service especially from the BRANCH MANAGER could you imagine what kind of leadership they are under if the branch manager can roll their eyes at you and walk away from you as you speak. I will most definitely be cancelling my account with them. just another thing... being the branch manager you would think that she would be the best trained employee however this person did not even know how to access the vault i had to show her and guide her through each and every step. really makes you think what is going on here. Worst service, Bad employees and to top it all off lead employees give you attitude. Never going back here!!!

The branch is managed by a rude and stupid one R*** that not only push you away but make you regretting to have an account with CIBC itself!!!!

It's really nice, feels new. Only wish they had cashless deposit envelopes like they do with the PC machines.

Their ventilation system traps the garbage smells inside the building.
