Very disappointed with this bank , have been with this bank for 4 yrs from student status visa to work permit and when applied for credit card extension , they refused telling that they can't approve it , since I am on work permit and the staff I had the appointment with was was very cold , no courtesy , no apology for being late for the appointed time, no enthusiasm or interest towards customer helping them finding other solutions,even when I tried asking them of other options.they just stopped my credit card saying it reached the expiry date , without before hand notification,any solution's , or.options. what about the payments that i have to pay from my credit ?what about the payment that i have pay tomorrow from my credit account?what explanation am i supose to give the person's/ company that i have to pay to ?I am giving that one star only for the prior service.This is price customer has to pay for being loyal for 4 yrs.

I recently switched to Scotiabank after dealing with another institution for several years. So glad that I did! The staff at this branch are amazing. Always greeted with a friendly smile. Wait times are usually fairly quick as well.

Expensive monthly rates. Inconvenient locations. No atms anywhere so you have to get charged service fees twice because finding a bank machine that has the scotia name is non exsistant. I am changing banks

I went for a Rrsp loan and was turned down. No explanation on why or what to do to be approved.
