CIBC Branch & ATM

I visited this branch to wire transfer the fund in USD above 25K. Teller girl asked help from her coworker Sarah. Since I requested to waive the transfer fee then Sarah suggested to use Global money transfer. Global transfer is not applicable to transfer from USD account to USD account because there is no currency conversion. When I explained her then I told wire transfer is the only option. I did multiple times in the past so I am aware of the process. Problem with her was, she was not ready to listen. Anyway, ultimately after some discussion, I decided not to transfer the fund from this branch becuase of her attitude the way she talked. One of the interesting fact, in the absence of branch manager she is on vacation for this week. no one was confident to do the work. Hope, branch will coach their team members to handle the situations friendly and calmly and improve customer service. I understand branch teller member has some limitation. FYI.. I mostly dealt with branch in GTA and on telephone, my experience is good.

For the first time in my life, I had the most kindest and professional experience with a bank institution. Jennifer was not only very friendly and informative...but her professionalism was beyond expectation. We were new to the CIBC banking so we had tons of questions. Jennifer answered all of our questions with a smile on her face! Not only that, she offered to contact her at any time if we have any questions or concerns! That's what you call wonderful customer service! I hope the branch manager will see my review and reward Jennifer for her excellent work ethics!nIf you are planning to visit this branch I would highly recommend asking for this wonderful lady's help!nThank you so very much, Jennifer!

Worst location...staff are extremely rude.

Pathetic service. Wasted all my day. They blocked the card because I did a “$150” transaction on my card and for them thats a suspicious activity. Had to go to the bank 3 times. The dumb junior teller didnt know anything other than having nails so bug that she dropped the card 10 times, then unable to type because clearly kim kardashian is over rated. Then asked to verify using the most absurd IDs when i have PR card and driving license and even my passport at hand. The other lady does not know how to use the machine to scan my passport because thats rocket science. Absolute loosers running the bank. HIGHLY ADVISE NOT TO BANK AT CIBC. I made an appointment with another bank while waiting at CIBC branch to open a checking account elsewhere. Complete dumb people who have nothing to say other than “sorry” because they think sorry sorts out everything. If there was a way to give 0 star rating, i would think that makes more sense. Infact calling them dumb is an insult to dumb people.

my husband and I were going through a very rough time with losing our car to a fire and dealing with insurance and all the headaches that go with claims. The last step to pick up our new car was paying off the loan for our old one, but of course getting the settlement wasn’t easy either. Annie was so sweet and so helpful, she went above and beyond to help me when I’m not even a real client of theirs, I just have my loan through them. I can’t thank them enough for being the ones to complete the step to end this nightmare. We were able to pick up our new car the next day and she made everything very easy for us. Thank you, Annie and everyone else involved for being so kind and helpful. I cannot thank you enough!
