Healthcare and Municipal Employees' Credit Union (Brantford Branch)

I have become totally frustrated with the new poor level of service. In the last few years they have gone from excellent to a negative rating. Staff continue to be good in person, but trying to get through via phone or email is a complete disaster. No one calls you back or you are disconnected on the phone. As for free member benefits, like cheques being over 60, this is now gone. Also trying to transfer money out be prepared to be gouged with above average fees. Maybe when a new CEO is hired, things may improve. Might be time to bring back Charlie who's leadership they flourished under.

Can only rate them a 1 because I can't go any lower. Terrible business practices, CAUTION DO NOT LOCK your investments with them as it will be hard getting them out. Fees are astronomical towards SENIORS. Front line staff are only doing their job can't blame them, massive turn around of leaving going to other institutions. If I could give negative stars, I would. This bank has gone downhill. I’ve called for days to try and reach someone and have not been contacted. I’ve left voicemails, I’ve reached out through email and no one has replied. The only way to get a reply is to tell them you’re leaving their institution.Taking my services elsewhere.

Every time you call noone answers. They still have the messaging, "Due to Covid" etc etc. Since they changed into this new system, the customer service sucks. Oh and when you go in they will charge you now. no staff at the counter

My self and other members of my family have been trying to get ahold of someone at the Credit Union for over a week now. They will not even call us back. This is the worst costumer service I have ever seen. Terrible service.

I like the credit union. I've been with them a long time and I find them much more personable than any bank. I just wish they offered more services. For instance my ATM for the majority of times doesn't work outside Canada. That bugs me. But for my day to day banking they do just fine.

Wow!! This Credit Union has certainly changed over the past 2 years. What used to be excellent customer service has now turned into, terrible customer service. Out of the 3 different banks that have my business, this one is the worst.

Within the past year, I feel like the service is definitely not as good. The account changes on line are confusing and there are now too many. It is difficult to get phone help and their hours are not good. Not sure if they are permanently closed on Saturdays and if so this is not a desirable features.

Friendly staff, not thrilled that they closed some branches, but I get it. The low rating at this point is just due to them not answering their phones anymore. You'll sit on hold for a half hour to make a simple inquiry. Yeah yeah, covid this and that. Whatever, every other business can take calls without an issue, including every other major bank.

Dont call spent almost an hour on hold just to be hung up on their still using their lack of customers service on covid its lack of staff and caring about service.charged 1.50 just to speak to tellers. I see a fast sinking ship many customers have left..I see why
