People working at this location have very poor communication skills. They also open later and close earlier than their business hours. Apparently their clock runs 10 minutes slower in the morning and 10 minutes faster in the afternoon.

I joined with Cibc in July and have nothing but good things to say about this branch The customer service is fantastic. All my dealings have been with Raymond Changlee and he has been nothing but professional and is super helpful.

I had awful experience with one of the tellers name Cindy, she was very dismissive.. wasn't helpful at all. I believe as a teller you should be very sympathetic towards customers especially when it comes to financial matters. I've been with CIBC for over 15 years and that was probably the worst service I've ever had. It was not until I asked to speak with the Manager Laura and she was a sweetheart and made my experience so much better.

Massive line up on a Friday afternoon and only 2 tellers working. Meanwhile 4 other employees on the floor who are of no help to majority of people in line.

I made an appointment online with Jenny for last night at 6 pm to talk about my options to possibly combine my student line of credit and OSAP to see if it would maybe be a better option than trying to pay off two loans separately. I made it for 6 pm because I was coming from work and didn't know if I'd make it for 5:30 pm (which I ended up making), and she got me in earlier which was great. But, she said she didn't see my appointment, and I said I made it online for 6 pm, and I was sorry for being a bit early... and she responded "We close at 6 pm."... It gave me the option to make an appointments between 6pm-8pm, so I didn't feel the need to look up when they close because I assumed they wouldn't schedule appointments afterwards...and I was there early anyways, so there really shouldn't have been an issue. Then she asked me what I wanted to talk about, and I explained it to her what I was thinking of doing, and she said she would take a look, pulled up my line of credit, and said, "You should use your line of credit to pay off your OSAP".... in which I told her I've already used it, and it's not available... then she double checked and was like, "Oh yeah, it's not available never mind..." which I already knew, and told her...So she clearly was not listening. Then I asked her again if it would be worth combining the two loans, and mentioned I have a co-signer who could help, and she told me basically to do what I feel like doing... She said I have an amazing interest rate with them, and that it wouldn't make that much of a difference combining them... and she asked me if it would be worth my time to go through the process if the rate wouldn't be that different? THEN, probably worst of all, she asked me what I was studying (even though I kept telling her I was done school... again, wasn't listening), and I told her I studied English... and then she literally said, "oh that's too bad.. if you were becoming a lawyer or doctor we probably could help you more." At that point I had enough... and that was 10 minutes in. I said I don't know what I'm going to do because I can't afford to pay over $200 in just interest a month on my loans, and she said, "I know it's really hard... best of luck." I left feeling more discouraged... and it isn't like I went in unprepared. I had payslips, my monthly spending, my budget and what I was willing to pay, ect. and she didn't ask me any questions, and actually gave me no advice. Maybe it was because it was the end of the day and she wanted to go home... I don't know. But it was a terrible experience, and I'm going to pass going back to this location... especially to speak with Jenny.
