Chura Hair Salon

Definitely 5 stars! My favourite hair salon for many years now. Staff is creative and very professional and the price is more that reasonable. My hair is gray and also very difficult to manage (it has mind on its own) yet Emi has no problem taking care of it. I got so many compliments for my hairstyles!

If you can handle the communication barrier this as salon is definitely worth checking out. Japan has long been the most advanced country in terms of styling, nourishing, cut/designing, coloring, chemically processing innovations and techniques for hair. Since I have been going to the same hairstylist for 7yrs, which I prefer, a downside with their business is that most hairdressers live in Japan and travel back and forth, so you'll likely wait months to book with the same Stylist. That said, prices are extremely affordable and whomever you end up with will, at the very least, be worth the price! Always have a picture or two of what you want and let them know what exactly you like&want for your hair. Don't bring too many of pictures of different styles you like - best to bring 1 to 3 of very similar hairstyle but at different angles. Best of luck!

Gosh! This is the fifth time calling to make an appointment for a simple bang trim. They always just say "No" They should just take it off their services.

Great place for a haircut. Really happy with how my hair turned out. I decided to get almost 6 inches of hair cut off. Since it was such a drastic change, and I didn't really know how to style my new hair, I asked for help. He happily styled my hair, and gave me tips and instructions on how to upkeep my hair. He also suggested different types of products that would be good for my hair. The stylist didn't try to upsell me anything, or try to get me to do extra services. Overall this was a great experience and I would definitely be coming here regularly.

Takuji has been cutting my hair for many many years now. My experience at Chura has always been a good one. Everyone there is very polite and the price is fair as well. Book in advance!
