I was so lucky to be dropped off at CHUM hospital, I was in a very bad condition they accepted me although I only have an Ontario health card, not a RAMQ card and that was so nice of them, I waited for about 6 hours to be examined and was about to get upset but as soon as I was called in for the examination they did all kinds of tests and procedures and found the root cause to the issue that would require surgery, apparently everyone that works at this hospital is super nice, polite and kind, they all love to help with a big smile on their faces. They did set my operation for the next day and now I'm on my next day of the operation still in the hospital sitting on the bed alive putting my feedback on how good this place is.nIt might not be the same experience with someone else but I'm pretty sure they are doing they're best to help each and everyone.nThank you so much CHUM I'm so grateful and happy to be treated by kind people like.
Very bad service, I waited 16 hour's, Emergency personnel take up to 4 breaks every 2 hours, Nobody gives you clear information about how long you will be waiting in pain, very bad experience, I do not recommend that you come to the emergency room, the staff is very poor
English wife sent here for surgery, nightmare. Rude and disrepectful staff and doctors who refused to speak english to my wife, who only understands english. A garbage institution. Extreme anxuety for us both. Worst hospital in Canads.
17.5 hours waiting to see a doctor who didn’t want to examine me, prescribe a medication or an exam. I saw elderly 90s patients waiting the same amount of time with no comfort or any priority. I passed the triage with the nurses 3 times, I don’t see the point of doing it. At least, the nurses were very polite and understanding, but I expected more from the doctor. It lacks a lot of empathy and compassion. I’m still unwell, unfortunately.
Tried to call 6 times to move an appointment for a personal emergency, after 1 hour waiting each time I lost patience before I could talk to someone. That's 6 hours waiting for a simple phone call. It's beyond ridiculous.
