It’s been over 3 hours of pain and crying wanting to see the doctor.nI get harrased and pushed down by security and then a nurse comes to threaten me with asking the security to push me out just because I complain I can sit, I need to lie down. I surely do not recommend anyone who is seriously ill to come to this center . It’s so big but very stereotypic. Is there justice here ? No. Was the nurse right to threaten a sick patient? No. Was it right for a sick patient to be dragged and pushed hit her head, when already she is in pain? Waoh! Please and please don’t go to the CHUM emergency if you are seriously ill, look for an alternative. Maybe for clinic appointments they are on point, that’s what makes them earn their one star! They do not deserve better.

Never been to a hospital that was so dirty.nBeen here since tuesday and not once did they mop the floors in the rooms. Some items are covered in dust and there's boogers on the walls. The bathroom is completely disgusting, there's been dried piss and toilet paper on the floor for days
They helped us super fast; there are many young people, perhaps doing their internships, who are very kind and helpful. The doctors were very supportive and ordered all the necessary tests. The best hospital in Montreal.
In 2020, I had colorectal cancer surgery performed by Dr. Lawrence Lee at the MUHC. I entered the surgery with a cancer-positive diagnosis and later discovered that the surgical margins remained cancer-positive after the operation. This information was never clearly communicated to me at the time.nYears later, when I sought further medical care in Lebanon and underwent a second operation, I was informed about the positive margins from the first surgery. Learning this long after the fact was very difficult and concerning for me as a patient.nPatients rely on clear communication and transparency about their medical condition and surgical outcomes. I believe it is important that patients are fully informed about such critical details so they can make appropriate decisions about their treatment.nImmagine doing a surgery to take off the tumor then after all the pain and hardships of the surgery and its after math you realise that it was a failure and the Dr who failed used to smile when he sees you without even telling you clearly that the surgery he did: failed and YOU STILL HAVE CANCER!!!
