SALTY SALTY SALTY. Everything served here is too salty. The chicken corn soup was so salty that I had to add boiling water to make it edible. The chili chicken is way too salty that I had to drain the gravy before eating it. The rice is congealed and stuck together see my picture below to see how much of the rice is inedible. I had to separate the bad rice from the good rice, the bottom of the picture is the edible rice and the top is stuck together. The salad is just unflavored lettuce with a few carrots and an orange slice. I remember this restaurant used to be good, what happened? This food is unacceptable with much better Hakka restaurants in Scarborough.

Best fried rice I had in Toronto so far. The drum sticks are great as well. I have ordered several times from this place in the past few months and will be doing that again for sure. I only wish they were faster in making the orders, I always end up waiting around 5-10 minutes past promised due time.

I have never dined here, so no comments to that. I love their Bombay Chicken. The spicy taste makes me drool, it is so yummy that I wouldn't mind making such a weird sound while eating. Everything I ordered until now was good but my real love is their spicy Bombay chicken. I am again drooling while writing this post

I am not much of a review person but this place deserves all the appreciation. Welcoming staff. Delicious food. American chopsuey is a hidden gem. Glad we gave it a try. Not to forget, the Indian hakka chowmein. The best Indian hakka place I've been to in a while.

I recently visited Chostick House near Markham and Sheppard in Toronto. The Halal Chinese restaurant in the area and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with my experience there. It's safe to say that it's the best halal Chinese food available in town. What sets this restaurant apart from the others is their commitment to providing authentic halal Chinese food, which is quite unique for the area. I was impressed by the quality of the ingredients used in the dishes, and the flavors were outstanding. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations. In addition to the food, I was also very impressed with the prices and service. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food and the portion sizes, making it an excellent value. The service was exceptional as well - the staff were friendly, attentive, and provided great recommendations. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was fantastic. If you're looking for authentic halal Chinese food, then this is definitely the place to go. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves good food, great service, and reasonable prices. Unlike many other “halal” Chinese restaurants that serve liquor and not very welcoming when you ask questions related to meat source, chef and other ingredients. Just putting a “halal” is not enough, the restaurant should provide proper evidence whenever we ask.

Great service, servers were really nice. I ordered dragon crisp chicken and chicken chilli. Both items were good.

We went there for a late night bite for the first time. The place itself looks like it could use some renovations- as it was small and just did not give a clean, pleasant look. We ordered our food and waited for it for a bit, which is totally fine. The food was just ok- I found the sauces had no flavor. It felt like inauthentic hakka food. I am sure the sweet and sour shrimps we ordered would have been good had we have received them. It was too late to go back to the restaurant to get the shrimps we were charged for. It simply was not a good first impression, making a mistake on our order, and taste wise, you are better off going to Hakka Legend for some good food with flavor. I would not order back food from this place.

The food is fabulous!! The Bombay chicken and dragon chicken is good. The store is not very well maintained Like the tables will not be cleaned for a while even after the customer has left. New customers have no place to sit then. They’re probably understaffed.

I have ordered Manchurian chicken noodles through Uber and somehow got Szechuan noodles. Truly disappointed and the matter of fact it was not a long order to be confused with as I ordered just one thing just one thing which was Manchurian chicken noodles and I was expecting it to be brown not red. Chopstick house ruined my whole dinner. Thank you. Never gonna order again

I’ve had mixed experiences at this restaurant, but recently I had ordered hot garlic chicken and dragon chicken which came with steamed rice. While the gravies were good, the steamed rice were too mushy and definitely over-boiled.
