Very nice steak house. Easy to find and lots of parking space near by. Super tasty food, their mash potatoes and broccoli salad was also delicious felt really fresh. Everything had an amazing flavor. Also their peach cider was pretty good. We order the peach cobbler for desert as well and that was really good too. They had a cesar salad that was delicious. Overall an awesome experience. No wait on a Friday night closer to 8pm. The service was good too. We will be coming back when ever we are around this place again. We will definitely suggest this spot to anyone looking for a good steakhouse.
The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. You get a ton of food for the $$. The owner personally talked to each table. The pretzels were awesome with the beer cheese. You have to try the sweet potatoes served with a sweet dipping sauce. Delicious. The atmosphere was very cozy. Wishful thinking they open one in Council Bluffs Iowa someday.
Excellent service, very accommodating for my dad and his walker. The hostess can let you in side door that has ramp if they can't make it up the few stairs in front. Ribs alone are worth the trip, but we enjoyed it all.
Nice place with a lot of beer on tap. Had the salmon spinach salad. Might as well call it a spinach salad. Salmon portion was very small, 4 bites, my guess 2oz. A bit overcooked therefore dry. Considering farmed raised salmon is pretty cheap, a bigger portion would have been great. A lot of spinach though. The menu has a good selection. Service was friendly. The bill came as a QR code to scan, then you have to process your own payment using your phone. Receipt will be emailed. I am seriously getting tired of all the extra work a customer has to do these days. Going to a restaurant should be enjoyable. No electronic devices and good conversations. Not happy with the experience.
Date night with husband, they had amazing nachos! Mound of nachos, was not even a joke, it was a MOUND!!! Burgers were great but we were so full we couldn't even finish! Had a cotton candy margarita as well, yum will definitely be returning.
Chophouse Downtown did not disappoint! The food was amazing and full of flavor! My steak was cooked to perfection and the sides were a perfect pair. Having a bread bowl available for the soup was a nice touch compared to most places who just have regular bowls. Jon provided great service and the owners were so nice and personable. I can't wait to come back and try more off of their menu. Thank you for bringing a new spot with great food, better service, and a fun experience to Cedar Rapids, Iowa! it was definitely needed
Omg... first time here and so much delicious food! The owner and chef are present and make sure everything is perfect. Our waitress is amazing!!! Bartender's first night making my drinks; so awesome job to everyone!! We sincerely appreciate all of you!!! Well done guys!!!
All our food was delicious! We went during happy hour, when you can get $5 sliders with fries and $8 nachos. The food was great, the kids all loved it and we came home with lots of leftovers. The nachos are huge!! My kids loved the sweet potato fries with the sauce. We surprised them at the end with the $6 cotton candy tower, which they all shrieked and loved. It felt special and unique and earned the best day ever award. Totally recommend. Dietary restrictions: They have lots of GF options which I appreciate.
Always have an amazing experience coming here but the Valentines Day Special was out of this world! Kuddos to the staff, owner and chefs for an unforgettable dining experience. The food and drinks were some of the best I've ever had in Cedar Rapids.
This place really is amazing! The food, the staff, and the owners are wonderful. They are interactive and will talk about anything with you. The bartenders can make the most creative drinks too. If you are in this area give them a try!!
