We have a large list of appetizers, double patty hamburgers, a huge tenderloin, vegetarian options and amazing pizzas/ calzones; something for everyone! The atmosphere of this bar is very relaxing and will remind you of your favorite hometown bar! Jimmy Z's is fun for all ages of adults. The staff was very friendly, and made sure we always had what we needed. The food was alright, I loved how big the tenderloin was, but it didn't really stand out much. My fries were also a bit over cooked and kinda chewy. It is pretty basic bar food, but overall not bad.
Not a huge menu, but what we ate was good. My wife got one of their regular burgers and I got the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. We shared a large order of their wings. We got them naked with the sweet chili Thai sauce. Those were by far my favorite.
The food here is amazing, everyone is talking about it. The staff has a smile with every service and the place is certainly better than the old establishment that was there.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST AND BIGGEST TENDERLOINS ANYWHERE. Portion sizes will not disappoint the hungry. Great atmosphere, friendly staff.
Looks like a dive bar from the outside but was nice inside. Men's Bathroom had 5 different kinds of hand soap! Staff was friendly and I think Jimmy was there at the beginning and welcomed us. Food was excellent and the Pork Tenderloin was gigantic! I would suggest sharing it for the normal person. Curly fries were very good as well. Girlfriend had a burger and it was very good as well. The problem was with the service. Waitress did not know menu at all and did not know drinks available. She also messed up the sides on everyone's order that was at the table. She did not stop by to check on us or to refill drinks or ask if we wanted more beer, causing a lower ticket and lower tip. The food is 5 star and I know it is hard to find good help right now but a little more training would be great. Stop by and have some great food!
It was worth the drive from Canada!!!!! I have been following from Canada and today my son and I got to experience it Great that they were opened back up and very much enjoyed staff and food You will need a to go box This will be my new go to place when I come back to Iowa Thank you to the staff
We visited on Saturday for the first time ever and brought family from Nebraska specifically to try out the tenderloins. Met the owner as we walked in the door and was treated INCREDIBLY. Food was excellent. Service was superb and even watched some live entertainment inside and outside the place. We will be back. Thanks for th experience and the mac n cheese bites. Wish we could have given 6 stars! Dave Dickey
Absolutely amazing service. If I could give 6 stars I would. We ordered a big takeout order for work, and despite the hassle, employees made sure we had everything we needed, went above and beyond and provided us with free drinks, helped us carry the order out to the car, and even made sure that if anything was incorrect on the order that we call back. Such a welcoming environment and the employees are great conversationalists. I promise your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you so much Jimmy Z’s!!!
Great bar to watch some Iowa football!! Very nice and accommodating bartender and cook! We had appetizers with some house made ranch and a few drinks while waiting to be picked up after the game.
