Very interesting experience. If you book in the morning during the week, there won't be many people, and it's very relaxing to drink coffee and make ceramics quietly. we will come again
I went in December and had a good time painting, it's a fun and cozy place, and the experience itself was nice. But when I got my pieces back, I noticed someone had written with pencil underneath before glazing, so it got marked into the final piece. There were also a few pen marks. Not a big deal, but still a bit disappointing.nI made two small bowls to use for snacks. After just two uses hand-washed both times, both bowls ended up with a bunch of visible cracks. I don’t think they’re deep or structural, but they don’t look nice at all anymore.nHonestly, for the price, I expected a better finish. I get that part of it is paying for the experience, but if the final product doesn’t last or look good, I wouldn’t do it again.
Really liked my whole experience there. The staff were great and attentive to detail and they really went out of their way to make sure we were doing good. They even offered to help with harder parts of our designs. The food was good but a little expensive for the amount I guess that’s to be expected though seeing as it isn’t a food place. A little downside is that the place we were seated in was a little crowded. My partner didn’t have much room to move around but they found ways to make things work. I felt like it was a little cold in there as well.nnThey have a vast selection of ceramic sculptures you can pick from. They aren’t too expensive and the hourly rates are very good. We stayed for around 3 hours and I paid 94$ or something of that nature.nnReally good place
Fun place for a date or with friends. Pricing of the food and ceramics are kind of high, as well as the cost of time for the visit. I would love to visit and paint more often if it was less expensive. Gets very crowded and noisy on the weekends. Staff were very busy and less attentive this time I was there
Awful experience and makes me question their business ethics. For context came here the first time and they told me to wait 3 hours. Almost made me think I was at the MUHC. I then had to make an appointment 2 weeks in advance. During the session everything with well. But when it came time to pick up the ceramic they quickly gave me the item and didn’t give me the chance to check the results. Once I got home I realized that they had taped the ceramic which led to the paint peeling off. As a result I gave them a call to see if they can rectify the situation, because at the end of the day this would be considered a manufacturing defect. Instead of trying to make things right, they had the audacity to just offer me credit for the next time. Now I’m down 50$, 5 hours of my life wasted and this was supposed to be a gift. Would not recommend
