We popped in to decorate a ceramic piece options abound: vases, piggy banks, candle holders, and other temptations, but after much deliberation, we committed to the noble mug. Three and a half blissful hours later—yes, 3.5—we emerged victorious, slightly paint-splattered, deeply focused, and wildly proud of every tiny detail. Time truly flies when you’re deciding whether that leaf needs one more shade of green.nnSince it’s also an actual café, you can sip, snack, and craft simultaneously. It’s creative, cozy, and very enjoyable.nnPerfect for a chill afternoon, a wholesome date, or an activity with kids just… maybe don’t bring 80 of them at once.nIt took a week for us to get our finished product back, and it was really reasonably priced!nAll in all, a delightfully hands-on experience that feeds both your inner artist and your caffeine dependency. Highly recommend.
This was our first time visiting this ceramic café. We spent a lot of time carefully choosing our piece and painting it, and the creative process itself was enjoyable. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by the staff, especially the person assigned to our table.nnWe were given very little instruction and had to figure out almost everything on our own, which is difficult for first-time customers. When we asked for help, the advice we received actually made our art worse. I asked how to use a specific paint bottle and was told to “use it like a pen.” Following that advice caused a large smudge. When I asked how to fix or remove the mistake, I was handed sandpaper and told to rub it off. This only made the situation much worse by spreading the paint and making the mistake far more noticeable.nnAfter this happened, the staff member clearly avoided us. Even when we tried to get her attention, she ignored us for the rest of the session. Maybe she knew what she had done, felt guilty and could not even look at us. We spent several more hours trying to fix our ceramics, but the final result was very disappointing.nnTo make matters worse, the café charges based on time spent painting, which resulted in a very high bill. Given how confusing the process was for new customers and how little guidance was provided, it almost felt like a strategy to trick us and keep us at the table longer and charge more.nnOverall, this was a frustrating experience, and we left feeling disappointed and overcharged.nnThe process of picking up the ceramic is also unorganized. We went back exactly 1 week later as instructed. It took them 30 minutes to find our pieces and there were unknown stains and defects on our art and some numbers written on them which does not look good.
When we came to pick up our ceramics, the person was not friendly at all, slamming drawers around and there was chipped in almost all of them. There’s stains on them that are not from us and they left numbers on the back that can’t be removed. Im super disappointed since I had good experiences there before.
I was so so excited to see how my ceramic was going to turn out, but there are 9 chips on my mug! I put pictures of some of them.nnThis has literally been the saddest painting experience I have had: What was so weird to experience was that when the employee gave me the mug, the paint chipped in my finger & cut me immediately and my finger literally started bleeding. The employee fully saw and did not say anything. I’ve never been to a cafe where my mug has chipped..let alone 9 times : My boyfriend’s ceramic literally had no chips, & he put a lot of layers of paint so this was really disheartening toonnI enjoyed the painting experience I would say, but I have been to better painting cafes in terms of quality. The employees there are not the nicest like the day of painting itself there were some really sweet people, & some really blunt people.
Great way to spend time with someone you love! Loved the large selection of ceramics and colours and was made even better by being able to paint with some hot drinks
