This is a gem of a place. Have been here twice never disappointed. I am person who doesn’t brown bread or salad . But the way food is prepare here makes me come back every time . Very warm and welcoming place to connect to people . The outside patio is very beautiful place to spend time . The washrooms could have been maintained better , but then again there are only 2-3 waitresses to look after the place and they do an amazing job .
I stopped here for a quick coffee! The place is very cozy and cute. Unfortunately I didn’t get anything to eat, but the menu looks yummy. Hope I’ll be back and try some of their sandwiches.
What a gem! I come here every time I'm in Montreal. My favourite items on the menu are the killer tomato sandwich and tomato bisque.. I keep meaning to try something else, but can't quite bring myself to do it! I just love sitting on the gorgeous patio. It's so relaxing and has a great vibe, and is an easy place to come even for a solo lunch. Huge, generous portions and always a delicious meal.. you really can't go wrong! It's also located in a cool neighbourhood with lots of shops nearby. Highly recommend!
Really nice place, the garden is super cute. The food is also great, I've shared two sandwiches with a friend and both were tasty! The portions are good. I'll definitely go back !
We stumbled upon this little gem on a 24 hour stint in Montreal. Just walking around, we saw this place and it’s eclectic allure was calling out to us. The atmosphere was so quaint. The food even better. We tried their coconut CBLT. I’m not usually one to enjoy things that have a predominant coconut flavour but this sandwich was *chefs kiss* perfect. It was an amazing amalgamation of flavours that I never would have thought to mix. The second item we ordered was the the Chaucer Salad which had roasted tofu and chickpeas with a super flavourful tamari marinade and a pesto aioli. The delicious food aside, the lovely and wonderfully eclectic decor is enough in itself to make me want to return. 10/10 would recommend
Really picturesque and cool cafe/restaurant. I had a London fog and carrot cake and both were extremely good. The outdoor patio has little blankets for those who want to sit outside in autumn. There's a little pond and some wildlife to watch chipmunks, squirrels, birds. It is a little confusing how to get to the cafe part - you have to enter the main door of the restaurant and wait to be seated out back in the cafe area. Do not awkwardly wander in and seat yourself like I did, lol.
We stumbled upon this cafe and got lucky with their huge range of sandwiches and vegetarian options. The soups, sandwiches and deserts are all worthwhile to try! The interior is quaint and charmingly and rustic.
Must visit place for breakfast /Brunch when in Montreal. Ordered the Mexican salad and vegan chocolate cake. Really good presentation, good portion size and not to forget friendly staff members.
Their bread is sooooooooo good! This place is a Montreal landmark. Sandwich combos are fantastic and creative. Go if you're vegetarian, vegan, or neither! You can order online for pickup, but I also recommend eating-in, as the ambiance is cozy, quirky, and comfortable.
Cafe is one my favorite place. I am in love with the garden and menu options. If you are a vegetarian, I would highly recommend you to try this place. I usually come here for lazy weekend noon to read and eat. Tastes of the foods are great. You might see slightly late in getting the food on weekend noon because of lot people to serve. If you interested in the quick food then avoid coming to place in the peak time. Though, the employees are hard working and attentive, they should not take more then 20 min to get your food on the table.Give thumbs up if you find it helpful.
