Two weeks ago we had to put our beautiful fur baby Hope to sleep. Your staff were so kind and compassionate! You were so gentle with her. Then today we received a sympathy card from you. Inside the card was a little paw print of our girl with her name under it and a little heart. It broke my heart but with all our babies we have always said that losing them is the hardest thing about having them. And we always said they left us with a paw print on our heart. And that’s what you gave us. Thank you so much for caring & being so kind. The MacPherson’s Hope’s Family
In spite of how busy this office is they have always fit us in when we needed to get in to see them. They have shown my animals compassion and care and shown us respect as well. We couldn’t have picked a better Nova Scotia ver for our dogs. Thank you so much - for everything past and everything to come.

Had a very sick 4 pound Chihuahua her vet had no doctor today, no other vet would help in my area called central vet they took her right in and even cheaper. Worth the drive she is doing much better. Thanks you guys rock.
I changed vets due to my former one loosing veterinarians. This created havoc with trying to get timely appointments. I’m so glad I chose Central Nova, it is well worth the drive from Pictou County because the appointment efficiency is amazing, staff is friendly and helpful and the building is clean and presentable. You guys ROCK and my animals and I appreciate all you do. Keep up the good work.
Dr. Zwicker helped my pet who' health went from normal to worst overnight! she squeezed us in at the drop of a hat! my lovie had a bad respiratory infection and was barely breathing when we showed up. It was so sudden! They treated both as a precautionary and she was prescribed antibiotics and pain management medicine. within 36 hours the wheezing has significantly decreased and my fur baby is eating again!!! i am so grateful! thank you DR. Zwicker and Central Nova Animal Hospital!
The entire staff, front desk, veterinarians, and people behind the scene are all amazing here. We have been frequenting this wonderful facility since about 2017. We are bunny people! Dr. Babineau has helped us countless of times with our late Fauna's dental problems and helped us navigate difficult waters with our dear late Dusty. I am thankful for all the compassion you showed during that difficult time. Dolly, Rudy, and Peanut, our rescue bunnies, were all spayed/neutered here during the pandemic. With the recent absence of our local rabbit vet, we find ourselves again driving 3 hours for help and we are so thankful you are willing to see us and our 'exotic' and fragile little family memebers. Thank you for seeing Jewel, Dr. Zwicker, on such short notice, and for helping her with her issues. We appreciate what you are doing during such times of stress, from the bottom of our
Excellent and caring vet and staff, had an emergency with our dog and they helped us out on a Sunday. They were so caring and compassionate to us and Bella our dog thank you guys so much.
Great animal hospital! Our doctor is Kayla and she is very knowledgeable on her stuff! Would recommend this place to bring your animal !
Best vet ever. Compassionate, competent. I'm deeply grateful for how they helped save our Phoebe dogger.
