They truly care about animals. Without hesitation she took in my sick older dog when I was evacuating from hurricane Fiona. She kept him until it was safe for me to return. They gave him the best chance to recover and provided me with peace of mind during a stressful time. Thank you so much!
Called about my dog with porcupine quills. Told me they open in half hour if I wanted to wait so no emergency charge. With a very ignorant put off tone. I said well I can wait so you don’t have to rush in. What time would you be able to see her. I can’t guarantee that I can or when. So if I pay the emergency fee you can do it now? No I’m booked for the day. I don’t know when I’m the only vet. So what is the point of the emergency. EXTREMELY RUDE and made me feel like a joke
Can’t say enough good about Dr. Hodder and her team. She’s so wonderful with our two dogs, so caring, loving and gentle. We’re so thankful to be on her practice!
Absolutely agree with all positive reviews and add that my Misty loves these folks. Dr Hodder is a force to be admired for her work with animals. Thanks for all that you and your staff do.
Amazing and caring. I had an emergency with my dog who was bleeding out. This was the only vet that was willing to take us to help our baby on a Sunday no less! Recommend 100%
I wanted a fecal test done on my cats, however it was not in two visits ever preformed. My past experience is that this is a prime tool in diagnosis. The staff was very friendly and accomadated us by allowing an emergency visit. I felt a bit intimidated by the pressure to surrender one of my kittens on the spot.
Refuse to speak you about your animal unless you bring it in so they can charge you a check up fee and other fees regardless. Very disappointing
I needed to get my cat in for an emergency back in February, they told me they had nothing till April. I ended up having to take him to Truro. Most vets have emergency slots for times like these and I was deeply disappointed when they didn’t take him. Later in April there was a snow storm and I couldn’t get him to a near vet till the next day in Truro and he passed away due to crystals forming during that last visit and this one. Would have been nice to be able to go somewhere local and not be immediately refused, I don’t think that’s right at all! I’ll be going to Truro for good, they actually accept emergency calls and have slots in the morning.
They have always treeted my animals with love and handled them with care never a worry
Dr. Kelly Hodder was there for us in the middle of the night when our senior Golden suddenly passed away. Her care and compassion during that awful time will always be remembered. I will continue to take my other dog to this vet without hesitation.
