"The emergency department is located at the right end of the building. This facility is a Collaborative Emergency Centre CEC which means that there is an emergency room doctor on site Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. patients must be registered by 3 p.m. and on weekends from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. patients must be registered by 7 p.m..When patients visit the emergency department during open hours, they are triaged by a registered nurse and non-urgent cases may be referred to see a doctor or nurse practitioner within the on-site primary health care centre."
