"The emergency department is located at the right end of the building. This facility is a Collaborative Emergency Centre CEC which means that there is an emergency room doctor on site Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. patients must be registered by 3 p.m. and on weekends from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. patients must be registered by 7 p.m..When patients visit the emergency department during open hours, they are triaged by a registered nurse and non-urgent cases may be referred to see a doctor or nurse practitioner within the on-site primary health care centre."

THERE IS NEVER A DOCTOR AVAILABLE . this has to be one of the worst hospitals .. what do they even do there , why are they even getting paid ??!!! place is a JOKE  if anyone seeks medical care in the tatamagouche area , PLEASE go elsewhere because they cannot do anything at lillian fraser memorial, they don’t even have a doctor lol

Great staff.  So thankful for this place. Great doctors, nurses and lab staff.
