Centegra Hospital Huntley

I had been admitted and after being there for 9 hours was never offered anything to eat. When I asked for food I was given one half of a turkey sandwich with 1 slice of turkey on stale white bread with no condiments. I was actually even more hungry after eating it. 12 hours later had to ask for food again and after waiting 2 hours and still no food I got dressed and released myself and went home. The only positive part was that the anesthetist was very comforting when explaining what would happen and that I had nothing to worry about. The doctor in the ER constantly insisted the my condition was caused by illicit drugs use. It infuriated me so badly!!! I spent the better part of a week trying to assure my mother that I wasn't a drug addict. After a second opinion we discovered the condition was caused by a natural supplement I had been taking. I won't even mention the issues with billing that still aren't resolved after 6 months.

I shall remember, for as long as I live, the excellent treatment and attention that I received from the nursing staff at Centegra Hospital. While they were definitely professional, thorough, attentive and prompt to solve every issue, they were also the most perfect examples of nurturing womanhood. I feel so blessed to have had them take care of me, and I shall thank God every day for creating them. My heart attack was scary, but they demonstrated such loving care that it made the entire experience one that was wonderful. I also thank god for my cardiologist, Dr. Zaidi.

I was very impressed. The staff was professional, compassionate, cheerful, warm and friendly. They adhered to safety and hygienic standards and I felt very safe and well taken care of. From the cleaning staff to the doctors, I was surrounded by people who knew what to do and did it well. The meal arrangements are unique and patient friendly. The furnishings are new and attractive with places for family members to sleep. The hospital is very quiet and I was surprised to find that it was full when I was there. It was, surprisingly, a lovely experience and I am (almost) looking forward to returning some day.

Exceptional. My wife and I just had our first child and we are both extremely impressed with our experience. New, modern, and welcoming. The grounds are obviously gorgeous and the interior is everything you would expect a new hospital to be. The treatment we received was prompt, professional, and personal. We were most impressed with the staff. Our OB, the doctors on call, and the pediatrician went above and beyond our expectations. We cannot rave enough about the nurses. The nursing staff at this hospital treated us like family. Caring, kind, and informative! You made our experience phenomenal, thank you for everything that you do. 5 Stars!

Davids wife- Took a nasty fall and brought there by ambulance. I knew my arm was badly broken. I didn't realize I must have blacked out as I didn't remember hitting my head. They gave me a very poor exam, not checking me for other injuries. When they were getting ready to let me go home I touched my forehead and felt a very large bump. It was under my bangs but since I wasn't checked all over they did not notice it. They took me for a CT scan after I showed them the bump. I had a brain bleed and was then admitted to the hospital. Stayed 1 day and had tto stay in bed for 2 weeks after that. Had I not found the lump I don't know what would have happened to me. I had trouble finding words for a few weeks after. The staff was not very caring. I am 74 years old and should have gotten a thorough check up. I injured one knee and a shoulder as well but they were not treated. I must say their x-ray dept. is very good with the doctors giving very thorough reports.
