We are an AAHA accredited animal hospital located in Nepean, ON providing health care services for dogs and cats.

Story

Located in Nepean, ON, we provide a range of veterinary services for dogs and cats. From wellness checks and vaccinations to diagnosis and treatment of medical issues, we're here to help.

We also provide reproductive and other services for breeders and are certified in sports medicine and canine rehabilitation, including the first underwater dog treadmill in Ottawa.

Mission

To offer personalized, friendly, comprehensive and high quality preventive and primary care to the local and regional dog and cat owning community. To be the primary source for pain management and rehabilitative care to pet owners in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario by offering multimodal and advanced care with highly trained staff, focusing on geriatric care and problematic recovery from injury or surgery. To be the primary centre in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec for advanced canine reproduction for dog breeders and veterinarians. To offer referral support services for surrounding veterinarians in rehabilitation, pain management, reproduction, ultrasound and endoscopy.

I moved to Ottawa a few years ago and tried a couple different vets before ending up at Cedarview. The staff here are so friendly and efficient, you can tell they really care about your pet from the moment you walk in. I’ve seen Dr. Bell and Dr. Gumley and they are both wonderful and very knowledgeable. One of our dogs is a rescue who absolutely does not like strangers, especially males, and she has no issue with either of the male Veterinarians which is so amazing to see. This is a dog who goes after everyone and everything new to her, yet she’s so comfortable with both of them, blows my mind honestly. Would definitely recommend them to anyone, especially if you have a very anxious dog like mine.

I have owned dogs for 20 years and this is one of the best veterinary experiences I have ever had.  Extremely thorough, detailed and patient.  Would highlight recommend.

This place is great! Called this morning because my puppy has worms and they got him in fast. I must have had at least 6 employees come take time out of their busy day to love him up. Vet was so patient and friendly. Everything was explained to us in great detail. I never once felt like they were trying to rush us out. Absolutely great quality service in every respect. I will definitely be making this my puppys permanent vet office. Plus I had coffee in the waiting room and after dealing with worms coming out your dogs butt who doesn't need a good coffee.

I have been a client here for almost a year now. I've come in for vaccinations, diagnoses, exploratory procedures, prescriptions, etc. I have been beyond pleased with the professionalism, innovation, and friendliness of this clinic. 

My Veterinarian is Dr Evan Bell. He has been very compassionate to my dogs issues. Never once has he judged me for the choices i make for my dog. The extra mile has always been taken to make sure I understand what is going on medically with my dog. After many vets before him, I finally feel like I have an ally rather than a prosecutor. 

Each and every tech I've been acquainted with has been a dream. After only a couple of visits, the staff was remembering my pooch: something I'd never before experienced. Many are certified practitioners of "no fear" protocols, and are very compassionate to how your companion is feeling. 

I love being with this clinic specifically because I know how forward thinking they are. With so many areas of specialization, additional training, and specialized machinery, I know my dog will get the best care any time he needs it. Can't thank CAH enough for all they do.

Our dog has received the best care possible through their rehab specialty.  They have rehabbed and "prehabbed" through 15 operations relating to hip issues and have gone above and beyond the call to manager her pain.
