Carling Animal Hospital

This is an amazing veterinary practice with exceptional staff. From the front desk staff, vet techs, veterinarians, and the practicing veterinary owners, all personnel were knowledgeable and kind. They follow-up with you in a more than timely manner, have great animal handling skills, and are forthcoming about what is necessary treatment and what is not - essentially, they do not try to 'gouge' you financially. I can't say enough great things about Carling Animal Hospital. When I moved to Ottawa from NB I was worried I wouldn't find a practice that was on par with my old veterinarian's office - Carling Animal Hospital exceeded my expectations!

So many amazing reviews written about Carling Animal Hospital, that I'm not sure that more can be said. Amazing staff, very kind and considerate. Dr. Keith Johnson is the type of person, pet owners hope will be their Vet. Well informed, knowledgeable, kind, generous and absolutely most importantly, caring. This is absolutely a first class Animal Hospital. We are very lucky to have this available to us. Thank you for taking such great care of our four legged family members!

I have taken my reptiles here and my sister takes her dog there. The veterinarians and staff have always been amazing. If it were closer to me I would take my own dog there for his regular checkups. I always recommend them to friends and anyone with exotic pets.

Very impressed with Dr Auger and his staff. They are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. More specifically with help for one of my Leopard Geckos. Thank you everyone at Carling Animal Hospital for all of your great work. Also, a special thanks from Eris my Phantom Enigma.

Was heartbroken to see that my rabbit was sent home with a broken toe. This happened a while ago but I feel like people have a right to know. Looks like it was caught in the mats they use in the cages as they have deep groves in them. They were nice enough to xray for free to see the damage and were apologetic however I was told this is not the first time this has happened to a rabbit. Soon after my rabbit stopped eating and got very sick and passed away. My rabbit was only two years old. Not sure if her passing was at all related but they should take better care of these fragile animals and change to smoother mats to ensure that this never happens again. Too bad that Ottawa doesn’t have better vets for rabbits. This vert seems more geared towards dogs and cats.
