Pretty place. Very kind staff. However, I found the place to be loud and bright. I guess I understand given that school will begin again soon and everyone is soaking up summer while they can. Loved walking up the beach! Restrooms: No sanitizer in the vault toilets. Not sure about the rest. Dog-friendliness: Yes. I heard and saw plenty of dogs.
Love visiting Caribou park, there is plenty of green space for picnics, a camping area for RV's and tenting, and a pristine beach just a short walk from the parking area. Besides the stairway to get to the beach, there is also an unpaved ramp for those who can't do stairs. There are outhouses on site as well in case you need to make a quick pit stop.
Beautiful campground, the campsites are very spacious. The place is nice and the beach is beautiful. I even had the chance to see a seal poke its head out of the water. My only con is the toilets and showers that really need some renovations. Other than that, it was perfect!
Very nice park that is located along a beautiful stretch of coastline. It has a very nice and long sandy beach that rivals many other places. The sites are overall well sized, especially those with electric and water. Only site 30 is tight for larger trailers and a vehicle. The washroom with showers was very clean, they clean them hourly! However, for a park this size one building with washroom and showers is definitely not enough. Especially if you are in a different loop you are a bit out of luck if you don’t have your own bathroom as even the number of outhouses is low. But they do have cooking shelters which is nice in case the weather is not as great.
Beautiful beach with a nice picnic/camping area. Lots of hermit crabs and baby lobster in the water which is cool. I never see a ton of jelly fish. Nice and sandy and never too busy to find a spot. Although it didn't pertain to our trip, there are signs saying it is wheelchair accessible, but there was a family struggling to access the beach with the accessible path. It seems like a good effort was made to make it accessible but it is still difficult to access in a wheelchair. The picnic area is accessible.
Beautiful, quiet campground on the beach! We stayed in a sheltered spot with water and electricity a 3 minute walk from the beach. Friendly staff. Close to ferry to PEI.
Beautiful campground. Staff are friendly. Office was open until 10pm which was really convenient. Our first time camping and we're not disappointed. We stayed at site #1. We definitely would come back, but booking at Caribou-Munroes was really very crucial this year.
Great spot to bring the family, or even just yourself to get away from everyday stress. Clean, and You can spend all day from dawn till dusk on the beach and It's totally free, no beach pass nessacery. There's also a good little campground close by with lots for tenting or campers for very a reasonable price. Highly recommend!
Very nice park. The beach is beautiful and the water clear and warm. I found all the facilities very clean and the staff friendly. A little more signage to the path to the beach would have been appreciated since I was unfamiliar with the park but I know for next time.
Wow. I was on loop b. Amazing beach near our site. Amazing wooded site, not too close to the neighbors...I love people but not too close. Only 1 sanitary bloc for the whole camping. The toilet designers must have a other Career now.
