Love this campground. The people are friendly, the views are magnificent. Could spend many hours watching the seals swim past our campsite.

Big playground for kids but no pool. Steps to the ocean. Mosquitoes can be bad. Overall pretty good.

I am submitting this review purely from the perspective a tenter (most of the sites were filled with semi permanent rv's). The tent sites are on the north side of the campground by the water. Lovely view, decent size site, but the picnic table was waaay too small to fit 4 + a stove. We could move the picnic table where ever we wanted within the site though. Also, they provided a good sized fire pit and some nice dry wood (5$ extra), wich got us a great fire going in no time. If you are coming with young kids, there is a great playground with every feature you could imagine. Bugs. Bugs. Bugs. In mid August, the bugs in the campground are unbearable! We had to wear long pants even when it was hot out in order to keep our legs from dying of bites. The best part was the washrooms were almost always empty, as everyone has their own in their trailer, and running water was close by. Pretty good camping experience, lots of bugs though, and feels pretty weird being the only tenters there. ( The guy deleviring wood came to us and said: "The fire ban is on until 6, but by the time you get that thing set up [the tent], it'll be 6 anyways!" It was 4 oclock! How stupid did he think we were. It wouldn't take us 2 hours to set up a tent! Obviously a jab at us being tenters. In photo: The location of the tent sites
