Worst experience ever! We’ve been looking for a good pediatrician since I’ve switched jobs and had a change in insurance. Apparently it is extremely hard to come across a good ped these days. I brought my son in to see Dr. Capes and once he found out he hasn’t been vaccinated the whole conversation change. He told us that he didn’t understand why we would listen to him as a doctor but not trust vaccines. Then he pulled up google and tried to recommend a book encouraging vaccines. After about 15-20 mins of vaccines talk, he told us that we may want to find a ped that understands our concerns about vaccines. Basically stating that he was not the ped for us. He was so hung up over vaccines he was supposed to give us a recommendation for a pulmonary doctor and never did. Oh, and this whole time he not once did he check my son’s vitals. At the very end, he checked my son’s breathing and that was it!! Everyone has a right to their opinion and doctors have the right to recommend. However, they DO NOT have the right to be bias towards your decision and make it seem like you’re a bad parent because you don’t agree with them!!!! I WOULD NOT recommend this doctor at all!!!!
