Terrible Customer Service and Lack of Follow-ThroughnnI recently had a very frustrating experience at Canadian Tire that has left me deeply disappointed with their customer service.nnI visited the store to purchase a truck jack and specifically asked the service employee for the one that could lift my truck the highest. Based on his recommendation, I bought a jack. However, upon returning home, I discovered on the Canadian Tire website that there were two other jacks that could lift my truck higher than the one I purchased. Feeling misled, I decided to return the jack.nnWhen I went back to the store, I realized I had lost the bill. The cashier informed me that she couldn't trace my transaction in the system because I had used PayPass on my phone. She took my information and assured me that someone from the store would contact me shortly. I bought the correct jack and left, now owning two jacks, but expecting a call soon.nnTwo weeks passed with no word from the store. I returned and spoke with the manager, explaining the situation and that no one had contacted me. She apologized and promised to personally handle it. I offered to accept a gift card instead of a refund on my card, since it was a MotoMaster jack, a brand only available at Canadian Tire. She refused, assuring me she would follow up and to trust her.nnIt's now been three more weeks, and I still haven't heard anything. I'm left with two jacks, one of which is useless to me. This entire ordeal was caused by the bad advice from their employee and their inability to trace a simple transaction. The lack of follow-up from both the staff member and the manager is pathetic, leaving me feeling like they were just hoping I'd go away.nnThis experience has been incredibly frustrating and has severely damaged my trust in Canadian Tire. I expected better from such a well-known retailer. Moreover, I was not treated according to Canadian Tire's return policy, which allows for receipt look-up and other forms of purchase verification. Their failure to adhere to their own policies and provide a satisfactory resolution is unacceptable.

Refused to refund or credit a defective item after 1 week WITH the receipt. Two customer service agents and a manager laughed and rolled their eyes when we insisted on getting reimbursed or credited. After this experience, I understand the low rating on google reviews. Terrible customer service and lack of professionalism.

Used to like this store, there was good prices and good service. The prices went up like everywhere else as can be expected, but then the service got progressively worse as well. Today, they refused to apply their price policy for a wrongly priced item. Will not come here again.

No communication in the car department between client and vendor.nThe process starts correctly but when its time to deliver excuses are endless like fed ex made the mistake. The suppliers delivered the wrong parts.nThey take the reservation they just forget to order the correct parts.nnNo apologies for their negligence just excuses.nnCanadian tire should be Canadian clients fault.

I had a terrible experience with customer service. The manager was extremely rude and disrespectful. Their lack of professionalism and basic courtesy made the entire interaction frustrating and unpleasant. I expected much better service and am extremely disappointed. I will not be returning as a customer and do not recommend this store to anyone.
