I love this Canadian tire store (smallest in Ottawa area?) Hardware / paint guys and garage staff  are.excellent.- old fashion good service. keep up the good work!

Terrible experience.  Brought in dead battery. They said it would take 1 hour to charge. Left store and they called 10 minutes later and said this 3 year old battery was dead . DAH. Invoice clearly stated 3 year free replacement,  108 months pro rated. ARROGANT Nathan said it didn't apply to this replacement battery. He wouldn't or couldn't quote me pro rated cost without doing up an invoice. A quick head calculation added up to a 10% reduction on another crappy 160$ battery.  Employee Nathan was cocky and ARROGANT.  I went to Costco and bought a better battery for 40 dollars less. Costco is an honourable Company that will back up their  product. Poor attitude at parts counter..  in Bells Corners store. Friends and family won't be doing business there .Shame.

Not happy at all. Got quote for work and sign form without being aware of real price. Was told that part is very expensive. Part is bearing assembly. They quote me for over 900 dollars for part + labor. Went to store across Canadian tire Hese & Brown and price is over  500 $ chipper for 4 identical  bearings !??  . Not fair at all. Will complain to upper management. I used CT  in past but will thing twice to ever deal with..
They have to change their approach. Complete rip off ..

I had a tire change appointment, today, 11th November at 1pm. When I was handing in my car, I was told that the appointment would last 1 hr... an 1.5 max. Till 3:30pm... 2.5 hrs into my appointment, I patiently kept waiting in their waiting area. I finally walked over to the auto service desk, and inquired.

I understand that its the weekend and CT seemed understaffed but the auto service desk representative was extremely rude, and said "Sir you have to wait patiently..." and then glanced over to his supervisor and said, "this guy thinks he came to a McDonald's drive through"... this is no way to talk to somebody specially when you are in the wrong

CT needs to get their act together... only reason I got their auto service was because I purchased my tires from them... never getting anything done from their again

Absolutely terrible service. Will never go back to this location. This is the second time the online inventory showed multiple of what I was looking for and they have absolutely none or have no idea where they are and don't help at all. I even called this time on my way to the store to ensure they had what I was looking for. Took 5 tries for anyone in the store to even pick up. Once someone did they assured me there was two left in stock and said he checked. Five minutes later I walked in the store and of course.... THEY had 0. The guy in the garden center didn't even apologize for giving me the wrong information on the phone and simply walked away to service another customer. Worst store ever. Will never be back. Staff needs to learn how to serve customers properly.
