Canadian Tire

So I went here I want to say about a week and a half ago may two weeks now and I wanted my HEADLIGHT bulb changed. I told the girl up front and I said twice it is the drivers side headlight bulb. I get my car back and I trust that everything is all good. I drove off only to realize no something doesnt feel right so I go back to the auto centre and say something doesn’t feel right and I’m told again no your car is fine. Then when it’s dark enough later that day I turn on my lights and nope, it isn’t working! I go back AGAIN and I talk to a lady and she’s like oh, they did the taillight NOT the headlight. I of course am super annoyed. I was at that store for a total of THREE times just to find out they did the wrong bulb. Don’t their mechanics check all the lights before they work on the car? Because I was told they do and everything in my car was working. Turned out that wasnt true. I got a refund for the labor but was told I couldn’t on the bulb they used. Which fine, whatever and the girl I saw was super, super nice. So I can’t be mad at her. I was more upset with the girl who I talked to when I first got there who maybe misheard me? And especially the mechanics who I think SHOULD check what they’re about to work on before they start working on it. Don’t be lazy. I won’t be going back to Canadian tire for anything on my car.

The person that initially took my skates to sharpen them was wonderful. The girls at the customer service desk were awful. I waited patiently in line for 10 minutes. Then when a man who left the line got into line right behind me they helped him not me. Even when the second girl had her till open up she went over to the other person. Completely ignoring me. No thanks for waiting or I'm sorry for the wait. An acknowledgement of some kind would have been nice. I will never shop here again. I think they need to have some training on customer service. I am normally very patient but when I am ignored because they deemed the other person was more important I get a little upset.

Stopped in to get blue threadlock and a couple tools. Had to wait for the employee to finish talking with his buddy then literally had to chase him down to open a cabinet. Then get to customer service and had to wait for the kid to finish some paperwork to buy the tool. Didnt even manage to get threadlock. Last few stops have all been terrible too

DO NOT SHOP HERE OR AT THE OTHER LOCATION IN RED DEER THE OWNER HAS THE STAFF TRAINED TO TREAT YOU LIKE A THIEF ON ZERO SUSPICION AND BE EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE IN ENFORCING WHATEVER NONSENSE POLICIES THEY FEEL LIKE. I HAVE BEEN CHASED THROUGH THE STORES ON MULTIPLE OCCASSIONS BY STAFF FOR JUST WEARING A BACKPACK AND RECENTLY HAD A CONFRONTATION WITH THE OWNER HIMSELF WHERE HE CHASED AFTER ME AND THREATENED TO HAVE HIS EMPLOYEES PHYSICALLY REMOVE ME FROM THE STORE AFTER I HAD ALREADY AGREED TO AND STRATED LEAVING. DO NOT SHOP AT CANADIAN TIRE IN RED DEER.

I had an appointment on 8 Nov at 2:30 p.m. to get 4 new tires and 4 new rims installed on my 2003 Dodge Caravan. At 3:30 I was told my car would go into the shop next, and 5 minutes later a manager informed me that my vehicle would go into the shop in 10 minutes. At 4:25 my car was still parked in the parking lot and had NOT been serviced. I arrived early for my appointment hoping to get in early, but by 4:25 p.m. I was so upset that I didn't get an apology or any kind of explanation to why the delay. We have been customers of Canadian Tire since 1984 and have never been treated this badly. We have another appointment for 15 Nov at 1:00 and hopefully this appointment will see these tires and rims mounted. This has been an extremely bad experience.
