Canadian Tire

I had the worst experience at the Canadian Tire in store. Yesterday I spend over 600$ to purchase a lot of things and today I wanted to return only one item but this assistant manager named Karine was so unprofessional and rude. She had a lot of attitude from the beginning when she received us. I didn’t understand why. I explained the situation that I did open the box to see if the item is working and I am bringing it back with everything in the box not damaged nothing but she refused to return it to me because I mentioned I opened the box to check if it’s working or not. She kept telling me she can’t do anything because the box has been open. If I didn’t mention it she would have never known I even opened that box. I can’t believe this because I have been a loyal customer of Canadian tire and I never had this issue before until today. This is unacceptable. I am very disappointed. Please take necessary action to stop this otherwise you are going to lose a lots of customers.

I went to buy windshield washers from that store. It was on special at 5.39$. So I grab a case of 4 and go to the cashier. The total comes up to 23.99 instead of 21.56. The cashier couldn’t do anything so she called the manager. The guy tells me that the individual bottles are at 5.39 but if you buy a case of 4, I would need to pay 5.99$ per bottle. I guess he’s the genius who created that “promotion”.nI guess they’d rather look like clowns before honoring their price policies. In this case, they would’ve had to deduct another 10$ for price matching, which I didn’t even ask for!!

Response to the owner: I do not want to discuss. I will never take my vehicle to another Canadian Tire. The purpose of my message was to warn people not to get ripped off. Called for a break inspection, person on the phone tells me 49.95$. Once I get there the person tells 49.95$ but we need to remove the tires to verify the breaks and that it will cost 124.95$ X 2 and if I accept they will deduct the initial 49.95$. So my understanding is that the 49.95$ is to trick people to bring there car knowing that most people will not want to pay 49.95 for nothing. By the way, when I asked what was included in the 49.95$ the person simply mumbled that they tested the brakes while driving the car in the garage. Really??? And when I asked for details the person replied: ''You didn't hear me? There was another employee there as well she seemed to be enjoying herself, matter of fact she was probably the manager! Anyways, I spoke to my friends about my experience and one of them told me that this garage has a history of doing shady business and some while ago they did a clean up of personnel. Apparently they left some behind. The funny part, they have a huge sign inside: Canada's Garage

Marie Pier! This woman has no clue how to act properly decent with clients! She run the return department with zero common sense zero class ! Never ever go there again!

Worst return policy and customer service. So I came to buy a fishing rod and I found one on clearance for half the price. I asked one employee if it was a final sale and he told me that he was not sure and I should ask the cashier. So I asked a cashier and she clearly told me that it wasn’t a final sale and I could return it under 90 days she checked that on her computer. I came back few days later to return it because I wasn’t satisfied, and what was my surprise to find out that i could not return it, i asked for the manager and explained her the situation and that clearly the fault came from the store and if i knew i couldn’t return it i would have never bought it, plus the fact that i double checked with two employees that told me that it was indeed returnable. At the end the only thing they offered me was an exchange instead of the refund, and all of that because of a mistake that came from them.
