Canadian Tire

Very impressed by the actual customer service at this store tonight. All of the associates I dealt with tonight were all helpful. It is refreshing to walk into a store and be treated so properly for a change. What makes it so much better is that it was basically at closing time and my experience is usually the attitude of its the end of my day go away. Kudos to the manager for hiring star amazing staff. I brought my car in for a brake inspection and was advised the rear brakes only had 20% remaining. I was recommended to get new rear brakes by the workers at Canadian Tire. I then took my car to a different auto repair shop and told my brakes have 70% remaining and do not need to be replaced. Canadian Tire LIED!!!! I cant believe that this could happen from a place such as this. I will NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE.

I had my tire fixed today, possibly for a small puncture that caused the tire to continuously lose air pressure even after I pumped the tire repeatedly. The attending salesperson seemed to be a trainee as he was not very certain of what to do. Good thing there was this other salesperson who patiently helped along. The tire which was fixed was a bit over inflated. I expected the mechanic to make sure that all tires had the standard tire pressure. I hope the tire will not deflate over time.

Don't trust their computer system. Just because their computers say they have something in stock at a certain store, it doesn't mean they do. We have been to three Canadian tires now and even though their computers say it's in stock at such-and-such location, it's not. Call ahead and make sure they physically look to make sure they have it.

Please don't go this store, you will regret it. Worst Canadian tire in the country. Manager Tracy is worst to deal with . She doesn't deserve to be manager. She doesn't know how to behave to the customer. Staff certainly needs proper training before they come to the floor. They should be able to explain their exchange/return policy. Humble advise to Canadian tire. As the world is going forward, your exchange/return policy is getting keeping you backward. As far as that manager Tracy goes, I will complain for her behavior and lack of knowledge for the other staff. I will definitely not recommend this store in particular to anyone. Only good thing is there is girl Sabeha who works there, she was polite and understanding. Canadian Tire management, its high time please pull up your socks regarding your stores and other policies .
