Hard to find someone these days that understands what I'm looking for, especially if I can't remember the name for it and need to describe it. If I have enough time I can usually find it on my own. There are a couple very helpful ladies that work there. You'll do better if you speak a foreign language, with regards to most staff. Communication issues are common for me at this location. I usually leave with what I came there for, so that's the idea, right?

A big round of applause for Marie, At Home Depot 73 and Scott Road. My daughter and I went in there we needed advice on buying two different size bathroom vanities. Maria’s knowledge was unlimited.. She knew which questions to ask she knew exactly what we needed. She told us about a promotion that was on. She was not only knowledgeable. She was friendly welcoming. She helped us make a huge purchase with confidence..nWe went back two weeks later and asked specifically for her because we wanted to now buy the faucets for the vanities and toilet… She remembered us she greeted us warmly. She asked us a lot of questions about what we were thinking of, and answered all of our questions.nAgain, we made another huge purchase with full confidence because of Marie.n1 million thank you to you, Marie!

I had a very frustrating experience at the self-checkout on January 12, 2026 around 8:40 PM.nnI specifically chose self-checkout, but the lady working there started scanning my items without asking me at all. She entered all the items herself and didn’t give me a chance to verify whether everything scanned correctly or matched the physical items.nnShe also did not ask how I wanted to pay cash, debit, credit, or gift card. She selected credit card on her own without confirming.nnThis is the second time this has happened with the same approach.nnIt honestly felt like she was trying to increase her “engagement” numbers, as she entered her employee ID before scanning the items. If an employee is going to scan everything themselves, then what is the purpose of self-checkout?nnI know very well how to scan items and follow instructions on the screen. If a customer needs help, there is already an option to request assistance. Employees should ask first if help is needed instead of taking over without consent.nnManager, please provide proper training. Customers should feel respected and in control at self-checkout.

Sumi was extremely helpful at Home Depot while I was buying a pruner. He was knowledgeable, patient, and guided me to the perfect option. Excellent customer service and a great shopping experience!
