Yes, the website is not working as I remember years ago. You have to wait and try numerous times till it gets through. However, I was able to call them and they answered the phone very quickly. They gave me another phone number to call and for the first 3-4 times the automatic voice said they don't take anymore calls, just text a message. Eventually, the line got through and I was able to speak with an agent. In 5 minutes I was done. I really understand the frustration of some folks writing the reviews, but considering that CRA is dealing with the whole country, let's put the things a little bit in perspective. One star is off, because of the trials to get to them, and the site that works so hectic. But other than that, they have been very nice, polite and professional.

The service level for the CRA is so poor. Did you know that they did research on this, and there is a 50% chance that the CRA agent will give you incorrect information? And that's if they answer the phone. I don't know how many times I've called and gotten the busy signal. This is such as shame.

Not sure what everyone else is complaining about. I've called three times in the last few months - helping my parents with their taxes - and the agents have always been helpful and courteous. Knocking off one star for longish wait times.

I'm going to take a chance here and bump up my rating for CRA. I just spoke to this really kind-seeming man named Adeola. Soft, classical music playing in the background as I waited, that was one of the more relaxing moments of my day so far particularly since this man Adeola is so soft-spoken with a subtle sense of humour. Yes, for him, I give five stars in the hopes that he can get a promotion if he wants one if this is read. just spoke to a man named Don at the Preassessment Review Office and he has to be the most daft individual I have ever had a conversation with in my life! But as well...Happy Birthday Angie! You were a pleasure to speak to. Also a pleasure speaking to you too Lynn and Donna and many, many others. Don...I probably caught you on a bad day.

After I received a phone call saying I'm about to get arrested by the CRA, the very lovely agent on the phone assured me I am not. 10/10, would not get arrested again
