Callister Park

A lot of different areas in this park: a big field for throwing frisbee, several shady benches, and a playground with lots of swings. Situated across from the PNE, Callister Park has something for everyone who’s headed for outdoor activities: families, dog walkers, and sporting types.

Beautiful park, but don't have a chair to sit it.

This park doesn't officially allow offleash dogs. Just fence the entire field east of the little wooded area, and add a water pump and garbage bins. Could be an amazing, safe, social place for dog owners and dogs alike. As it stands, owners get fined for taking their dogs offleash. But up a perimeter fence, allow dogs to be offleash. Everybody will be happy.

Great park in an awesome suburban Vancouver community area. The surrounding neighbors are protective of the park, which is probably why it's so clean and lush. Nice picnic spot. Scenic cluster of mature trees, on a hill, in the center the park. Great playground for kids. Not frequented by homeless campers. Although the cluster of trees sometimes becomes a refuge.

Good dog park with friendly people and pups. There is wide open room to run around just past the playground. Occasionally school kids are there for a play day.

Great local park for the kids to run around. The playground could do with some upgrades though. Nice little hills for sleds in the winter for the odd day Vancouver gets snow.

Nice spacious park to bring your dog or kids to play. Fairly clean but quite loud as it's near a busy street

Fine as far as parks go. Want very busy as it is a fall day. Lots of trees which is nice, big open field as well
