California Thai

Got the Chicken Noodles, Ginger Chicken with Rice, and the Chicken Wontons. SO GOOD! And the serving size is amazing! This all can easily be a meal for 2-3. And to make things even better it’s ALL HALAL! Definitely my new go to!

We order food from California Thai Beacon Hill often. It never occurred to me to write a review until tonight when we were eating our meal and discussing how consistently good the food is every time. We quite often get the chicken curry, it is quite spicy, always fresh with lots of vegetables which I like. It is a big meal and comes with your choice of rice. It is soooo good, it has a creamy coconut Thai curry sauce. The mango salad is fresh and delicious. Have also had Ho fun noodles which are very good as is the pad Thai. My son often gets the mango chicken stir fry, which is a fried battered chicken in a sweet mango sauce, he loves it. The family that runs/owns it are very sweet hard working people.

Food is decent. Place seemed clean. That’s where the good things end. The lady working there seems to be run by husband and wife is pretty rude, they don’t seem organized at all, many people including myself were told 30 minutes wait for our food, then arrived and the food still needs another 20 minutes. 50 minutes for food is pretty ridiculous. The lady couldn’t even tell my the price of my order over the phone because they have an old-school cash register. This was my first time here and sadly shall be the last. With some organization, cleanliness, and manners this place could be much better than it is.

Food was really great, customer service was awesome. These people work very hard to get food out in a timely fashion even when extremely busy! Very impressed. They even had Zevia Sodas which was awesome! Definitely will be coming back to try more items off their menu. Thank you for a great experience:

Overall a great experience. We got the pad Thai and stir fry sweet mango. Along with bubble tea and spring rolls. Honestly could do without the spring rolls, however our food was really good! They made it fresh and got it out to us super fast. I must say I was impressed with the portion sizes. Bubble tea has great flavour, I’ve had better pearls but no major complaints here. We sat around and ate while people came and went and she treated everyone the same, excellent customer service! I would recommend this place to my friends and come back myself!

Excellent place to eat good Thai food in Beacon hill. It is in the middle of the shopping district with many other restaurants but it stands out. Food is prepared fresh right in front of you. They helped me with the selection as well. We ordered pad thai, mango chicken stir fry and spicy noodle soup, all 3 items were nice and fresh. Portions are large, unless you have big appetite and hungry, you can't finish it. The place is clean and definitely worth visiting again.

Have visited this place for the past few years, the food and staff have remained wonderful and consistent, the prices are far and consistent as well. I love their war won ton.Food: 5/5

Ordered second time and the chicken pad Thai was yummy

Covid crazy still—masks and plexiglass glass and barely no seats for dining in. Not an inviting atmosphere at all. Food was blah and service was non existent. Took a long time to get food, definitely don’t go if you are in a hurry. Will not return.

Tastes as if a Chinese person had Thai food once and tried to recreate it with just the ingredients list. Pad Thai was bland, Beef Ho Fan Pad Sew attempt was mediocre. For the price, I should have ordered white elephant. Sorry, but if you'd had Thai food, this is not it.
