I found Harry by using Yelp and Google Reviews and they are quite accurate. First time I went there, Harry was honest and upfront about what needed to be done to fix my car. The front bearing was worn out on my car and I had brought my own part, thinking it was coming from the driver's side. He did the work but it didn't solve the problem. He suggested getting a "known good" part from his supplier and installing that, which I agreed to but the sound was still there. He then suggested replacing the bearing on the passenger's side, "just for Sh**s and giggles" as he put it, didn't charge labour for it, and, voila!, the problem was solved. After that experience, he was "my guy" when it came to my car. I can't stress enough how friendly, helpful, and honest Harry is. No BS, no upsells, just what you need and nothing more. He gets to your car fast too. A couple of hours for my bearings and just a few days ago, a major oil leak in my car. Can't say enough nice things about him. He's what every mechanic or any professional should strive to be. Keep up the excellent work Harry! You've got my business for the long haul :D

I always trust Cali Auto to diagnose accurately and tell me the truth about what my vehicles need (a Kia, Suzuki and Hyundai) and the owner Harry has done great work with all three. His rates are great and he has a fun sense of humor too. Recently my daughter was told her vehicle needed $2,000 worth of work by another shop. i brought her to Cali and she was told that yes, it would need repairs on the shocks - in a year - but nothing else on the list, and that overall the vehicle was in very good shape. Honest assessments on what is the norm at Cali. I don't go anywhere else now.

Harry is fantastic. He’s quick to help and always takes the time to explain and show me what the problem is. Even though I’m no car expert he speaks to me like a peer, explaining things clearly and never making me feel silly for asking questions. His prices are more than fair, he openly discusses the options and I trust that he’s only recommending necessary work. I highly, highly recommend him. You won’t regret going here!

I took my car to another shop first and after getting the estimate I noticed I'm being charged for the stupidest things. It didn't seem right, so I asked friends for a reasonable mechanic and they recommended Cali. The price Cali quoted was about 2/3rd of the other shop! So I had my car towed to him, and he started working on it. He did a great job at a price he quoted. It's definitely the place to take your car if you don't want get screwed over and pay the right amount for the repairs.

This place is wonderful! Harry is kind and friendly, and very transparent in his customer service. I called after a dealership quoted me several hundred dollars to fix a rattling sound, and he said I could come by so he could have a look at it - no appointment needed. He found the problem and had me look at it myself so I knew what was going on and why his recommendation differed from the dealership’s. Ten minutes and zero dollars later, I’ve got a car that doesn’t rattle and he’s got a loyal customer.
