Great atmosphere. I highly recommend this place. It was the first time going there, and we had the squash raviolis with pawns, and it was delicious. We also had the chicken lettuce wraps per the server recommendation and it was amazing as well. We paired them with fries yam which were very tasty. At the end we had the chocolate lava dessert and it was very tasty. Recommended to anyone when you are in Saskatoon.
This place never disappoints you with food, ambience or service. I would highly recommend you try the hunters chicken and rear steak. Also, I would like to mention that the staff is very helpful and friendly, it makes the whole experience much better with it. Rare steak was cooked to perfection . The host was attentive, and we had a great time. Cactus is always a great choice for a great meal with loved ones.
The whole reason why my wife and I drove 8 hours from Winnipeg, this place has amazing food, amazing drinks, and an amazing atmosphere. The crispy chicken burger never disappoints, and the fries are always delicious and cooked to perfection. We were seated out in the enclosed patio and it was a wonderful experience and felt very relaxed-despite it being a very busy Saturday. Would highly recommend going to this establishment at least once in your lifetime
We ordered the Med bowl and the Lemongrass prawn bowl as main meals and the Tuna poke with wonton chips and prawn and butternut squash ravioli as appetizers. The servers were nice and friendly. The atmosphere is nicely decorated and the food is great! but the portions are a bit small for the price.
We had a group of 4 come for dinner. The restaurant was PACKED because of a special event. Even though we had reservations we still waited almost an hour for our table, but the ladies managing the crowd was excellent at keeping people informed on how much òf a wait. Once we were seated our waitress, Yolanda, was unbelievable. She made drink suggestions delicious had a smile on every time she stopped at our table and was just a joy. Our food was very quick coming out and was very good! Kudos to the entire staff for a wonderful experience!
As halal eaters, we dont really have many luxury dining options in Saskatoon. However, the cactus club offers a luxury dining experience with a few items on the menu, which are halal. The dining room ambiance near the terrace side is nice. I really dnt prefer the cubicles. But it's personal preference. We went there for my birthday dinner. We ordered GRILLED SALMON Gluten free for halal option as not sure if any alcohol is used and SPAGHETTI PORTOFINO prawns, pasta, halal sea food. Absolutely delicious and finger licking good. However, we were left craving for more because for a main dish, it's very pricey, but the serving size was very small and didn't fill up the apetite. We ended up ordering more salmon, and it took a long time to come, which kind of killed that craving. I think ordering 2 plates of these dishes will serve as a nice big meal but it will be too expensive. They really need to up that serving size. That's why 3 star on food. For dessert, we went for CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER CRUNCH BAR vegetarian, halal. Again, this was so small, and my sweet tooth wasn't satisfied. Overall, it was a great experience. The servers were really nice. They also ddint charged for the second salmon that was served late. We booked the reservation, and that's why we didn't have to wait.
Recently I was there to have lunch. We shared an appetizer. It was prawn ravioli trio, it was very delicious. My millionaire cut steak was average. The key lime pie was very good. The peanut butter crunch doesn't have the peanut butter taste that I was expecting slightly burnt taste to it . I gave 4 stars is becos' there is room for improvement. First is the service, knowing that we are sharing the appetizer , we were not given small plates for our convenience to share the dish. I had to catch the attention of a passing waiter to give us some utensils for our waitress is nowhere to be found. The rest already mention is the food itself. I have tasted steak that melts into your mouth, it was soooooo good.
Everything was delicious. Our server Franchesca was super friendly and checked on us frequently. The only complaint I have is. The music could be turned down a notch or 2 and turn up the lighting a notch or 2. We all had to pull out our phones flashlight to see the menu and our food when it arrived at the table. And we aren't that old. Lol. Ordered the shrimp ravioli as an ordurve. Wow. So good. Husband had Fish tacos, which he loved. I had Bacon Cheddar Burger, so good. I usually don't like the bun, but this is light and fluffy. Was all very good.
Loved the ambience. The food was extremely delicious. We loved the cactus wrap and tender chicken. Also the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend this place.
We stayed walking distance at a hotel, and this place had a great atmosphere, great food, and tasty drinks. We came back 4 times in one week. Some of the items we tried: Both sushi rolls, Fish Tacos, Mushroom Steak, Steak and Prawns, Green Thai Curry chicken, Steak Frites, Creole Chicken, Spaghetti Torfino, Truffle Fries, and more... wasn't dissatisfied with any of them. As for drinks the old fashioned and mezcal margarita were my favorites. Lastly the views were great!
