Tasty food and great service! The menu is only one page, but all the choices looked good. The server was attentive, helpful, and recommend some dishes that were safe for my allergy peanuts and we thoroughly enjoyed them. Cocktails were fancy too! The atmosphere, quality, and price are upscale and Asian inspired.

Thank you Alex for the amazing experience. You played a decisive role in my experience. The sashimi: is of standard fare. Difficult to improve or distinguish. The ramen: the main outstanding feature is the egg. I was pleasantly surprised with how it tasted. If nothing else, the egg's uniqueness is the hook. The cocktail: "Salty Seas" Its ingredients are definitely of East Asian influence. It beautifully comes together to form a cocktail I would indulge without remorse or reservation. The desert: "sour berry" I feel, adheres to the Japanese Pallet. As in, it is not a desert covered in another desert, topped off with a different desert. It does not wear out its welcome after the first bite. It is a dish to indulge to the very end, with out the lingering guilty feelings of potential cavities or calorie counting. The dish welcome you to finish it, and it does not become a chore to finish. I would without question return. Alex, thanks again!

I can absolutely see why this place is rated so highly. We went for supper last night and even though their tables were booked they had room for us at the bar and it didn't feel like we were just being sat at a bar and forgotten about. The lady behind the bar was super friendly, helpful and attentive. The sushi rolls were some of the tastiest we've ever had. The Raman bowls were superb and a good size, plus the pork belly was cooked to absolute perfection. The atmosphere was very cozy but still formal. Would absolutely come back for more of the experience and friendly staff.

Delicious! We always leave happy when we eat at sticks and stones. There menu is limited, however everything on the menu is amazing! We had the pork belly steamed buns: UNREAL! You need to try them, they are a must have! We also had the chicken karaage, which was fantastic! The flavour was very authentic japanese, but the texture had a modern twist on it-- it was super crispy. As for the ramen, it was delicious. We had the shoyu ramen and spicy ramen. Both were fantastic, and the broth was superb. We could tell they used real bones to make their broth, and the pork that came with it was to die for. My only complaint was that the noodles were slightly soften than I care for-- not a big deal tho. Drink selection was great; there are so many fun cocktails and authentic asian spirits. A wonderful place to get eastern asian food.

The food was delicious! And staff were attentive, friendly, and gave good recommendations. Definitely a place worth eating at! My mum and I enjoyed it very much and are looking forward to going back.

One night staying in town and this place was a short walk from our hotel. Arrived a few minutes early on our reservation. Hostess welcomed us and then said “it will be 9 minutes”. No one left before we were seated. I could understand if there was only one empty table in the place but there were many. Weird, but ok. It got MUCH better after that. We ordered a cocktail each to start. Yummy!

We had good food and a good server, no complaints there. However we were given the worst table in the whole place and were also the first two customers in the restaurant, even made a reservation for this “milestone” birthday. Clearly they do not check the notes for OpenTable reservations as I specified it was for a birthday - even asked for a silly song. In regards to the bad table, we finished and left the restaurant before any of the empty 6 or 7 tables adjacent to us had a seating. Also not a great setting, very dark and couldn’t see any of the nice colours in my Bibimbap or Drinks unless the camera was max brightness. Definitely think that lighting is cool after 8/9pm but not 5pm sharp

Have been here numerous times over the years and never left disappointed. You are always greated with a smile and warm welcome from staff when coming in. Ladies serving the tables are polite and friendly. Last time it was Mila and she was wonderful. She has worked from the opening and can see why she is still around enjoying what she does. It was a pleasure to be served. Food is always delicious. Ramens are some of the best i ever had. Sushi is exquisite and taste very fresh. Some meals definitely fill you more per $ than others which is totally okay. Not all restaurants should make you filled up overboard. Bibimpap is my personal favorite. Korean food is just very unique and these guys make it in the best tradition of the country. Design has a great taste and open kitchen is cool, ability to smell some food even before getting to it if sitting by the kitchen. The bar and the area around look beautiful. Thank you for all the times we enjoyed food and drinks here, would definitely be back!

The service, the cocktails, the food, the decor, the ambience, all perfection. Alex was an incredible bartender/server. She gave us the most eloquent explanations of menu items and absolutely nailed the characteristics of every single item we inquired about. Amazing experience!

This is the second time I’ve arrived at sticks and stones to be turned away. The bar and restaurant were empty at 1700, I was told I was not able to sit at the bar as it would slow service. I recognize the importance of staggering reservations. However if there is no one in the restaurant and the bar is completely empty I should not be turned away and ask to wait for 45 minutes. All I would like to do is enjoy some soju and eat some great food. Third time is the charm.
