Stopped by yesterday on my way to a concert in downtown and it was amazing. Aditya, the general manager, was so friendly and welcoming. He walked us through the menu and made recommendations on what we should try. After we received our order, he kindly threw in a small order of their new chicken nuggets to try which was a wonderful gesture. We ordered 2 of their original burgers, curly fries and a drink. Everything was incredible. The curly fries were just the right level of crispness. The burgers were really juicy and flavorful. The nuggets we tried were also very tender and crispy which we loved. Overall 11/10 experience and a big thank you to the GM for the wonderful hospitality. We’ll be thinking about these burgers for a while
The burgers were delicious. These aren't the best burgers in town but are probably the best burgers in the neighborhood. I highly recommend going for double to fill you up, otherwise it was fresh and tasty with decent amount of toppings. Fries were alright, but you won't miss much if you skip it. The ketchup relish sauce was weird, their own sauce alone is better. Also hard to find a spot in the weekends.
Absolutely amazing burgers. Insanely soft buns. Crispy fries. One of my favourite burger places in the city. Very limited indoor seating though and there's usually a line so order in advance or be prepared for at 10min wait to order and another 10 to 15min wait to get the food but it's worth every second. Burgers are juicy and flavourful.
We came here for dinner before an event and luckily for us, we made it right before a ton of people lined up for their burger fix. From ordering to eating, we waited about 10-15 minutes, which wasn't bad considering how busy it was. We ordered two of the double originals, along with curly fries, onion rings and spicy garlic mayo. The burgers were juicy and fresh, albeit a little too greasy for my liking hence the 4 stars. The burger could have used more sauce too, not quite sure what the "drop sauce" is but it didn't really taste like anything unique. Good thing I got the spicy garlic mayo- that was a decent sauce! The curly fries and onion rings were crispy and fresh, and tasted good. I would come back again if I'm in the area, but maybe next time I'll try the "American".
The best smash burger I’ve ever had! We got one of each but I personally enjoyed the original cheeseburger more. The cheese fries were amazing as well. Katherine and Greg were also super sweet! Visiting from Hawaii, the pineapple coconut smoothie was a little taste of home. Definitely will be back soon!
A very good smash burger and would definitely recommend for people to try. I personally preferred the American style over the OG for the ketchup relish. I do wish their drop sauce was more flavorful though since it tastes more or less like a light mayo. curly fries weren't anything special but the onion rings were the very crispy and freshly made.
Unpretentious and delicious food paired with great service. Every element of my lunch was top notch. Double original burger had such a classic, nostalgic flavour — exactly what I’d be looking for in a smash burger. I had the crinkle and curly fries, both were great, but I think crinkle cut were more unique. Finally, the chive truffle aioli had an amazingly well-balanced, robust flavour from the Italian white truffles and house-made chive oil. Really well done to all involved with this restaurant. Thanks to Addy for your help and clear passion you displayed for the food your restaurant served, it was carried through in the food’s quality.
On a mission to try all the top burgers in Toronto and Burger Drops in Liberty Village is serving up some amazing burgers, fries and desserts. The guy at the counter went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. I overheard him say it is owned by a local Toronto family and was really happy with the quality and taste of the food. The burger patty was thin and crispy, well seasoned and dressed with their house sauce which I thought was good! The indoor space is new, clean seats around 10 and they also have outdoor patio space as well. I look forward to returning for another great smashburger and fries! Oh and their pudding desserts look amazing so I'd definitely save some room.
This is my favorite smashburger in the city. It’s worth the hype - juicy, filling, and delicious! I would definitely choose the Original burger over the other beef burger. The curly fries were good but I think I will try the cheese fries next The service was super friendly and sweet as they gave us some free chicken nuggets that were also crispy and tasty!
10/10 burgers, fries, and service. I live nearby so I’ve had the opportunity to visit there often and here’s my take: If you want a rich, simple burger - get the original. If you’re like me and you want with more variety in terms of flavour - get the American. In terms of sides, you can’t really go wrong with any of them either. I would recommend the crinkle fries, onion rings, and curly fries in that order. I think they have one of the best fries in town - crunchy and textured in the outside, soft on the inside. Onion rings are also to die for. For me - curly fries were okay in comparison to these two. The cheese fries are also a great addition but be warned that they are really rich. You can also get cheesy curly fries! Haven’t tried any desserts since I’d probably have a heart attack if I were to eat a burger, fries, and dessert - but my friends love it. This is one place that has stayed consistent with quality and has gotten better over the years. If you’re nearby, I’d definitely recommend visiting.
