Story

At BQM Burger, we’re as selective about our real estate as we are the quality of our food. Since 2007, we’ve opted to set up shop in some of Toronto’s most dynamic, history-rich and ethnically diverse locations, occupying space in vibrant communities that are packed with hungry food enthusiasts and families.



BQM Ossington/Dundas
The flagship. Nestled in the heart of what has become one of Toronto’s foremost culinary destinations, the Oz resto-bar shop opened in the fall of 2008 – the genesis of upper Ossington's rise to scenester pantheon status. Our flagship location, BQM Ossington, stocks some 20 unique beers, grinds its own small-abattoir Ontario sirloin in-house (what’s not to like about ground steak?) and serves burgers up medium rare. In 2009, much to the delight of sun-seeking west-siders, the Rolyat St. patio made its debut. That the New York Times and others have declared Ossington the hottest restaurant strip in Canada doesn’t hurt, either. It’s no wonder our staffers — family members, the lot of them — hang here during off hours.

Mission

BQM Burger is a collection of premium hamburger restaurants that’s as tired of all the bravado surrounding the gourmet burger uprising as you are.

Here, our burgers are preservative- and pretension-free. We are great fans of simple comfort food, ideally in the company of an ice-cold craft beer and good friends.

We are never exclusive. We are always inventive. We are ever awash in positive, caramelized-onion-scented karma.
