Tried their Quantum burger and poutine and it was the best burger and poutine I ever tasted! Their burgers are fresh and even the fries were made fresh for you as well! There are lots of selections of good choice so you’ll for sure come back to get seconds or thirds to satisfy your cravings. I highly recommend you to visit and check out their food! 10/10
June 3 UPDATE based on Matt's Burger Reply: * I did post the comment in the wrong store location? Yes and this was the only mistake I made here in this whole situation. 1 I never called the restaurant asking where my order was. The order arrived quite quickly at my home so there is no reason for me to have called the store. 2 If you don't have lettuce in the store, at least DON'T INCLUDE CHEESE OR BREAD in my order. I cannot eat those two ingredients and was very clear about. A call is always appreciated if YOU CANNOT remove the cheese or the bread. 3 my comment is not hateful. the fact that the restaurant did not consider even giving me a call explaining that they were going to send a hamburger with cheese and bread is a problem for me. 4 The way I placed my order was clear and proper. I added to the notes the food restrictions I have and asked to had the cheese and bread removed and asked for a lettuce wrap. If you don't have lettuce wrap it is fine but how am I suppose to know that? ORIGINAL COMMENT: Ordered without bread and cheese and it came with bread and cheese. The sweet potato is terrible. Oily and soggy. Terrible. This is the second time I order from this place and the first time it was a bad experience as well.
Was looking for a lunch place in the neighborhood and stumbled into Matt's Burger Lab. Got two burgers, no fries. We tried the egg smash and the pineapple burger. Burgers were great - meaty and juicy. Bun was super soft, but didn't do too great a job of actually holding the burger together the patty was way bigger than the bun.
We had the beef smash burger and onion rings, came with two sauces. The food was all delicious, not too heavy. Place is nice, clean.
We had the spicy veggie burger, I honestly love that the beyond meat here tastes so much different and has a lot of flavour than any other place I’ve had it. It’s also their caramelised onions in the burger that bring in so much flavour to the burger. The staff is very polite, the burgers are amazing for sure.
Located in the Queen West area of downtown Toronto, Matt's Burger Lab offers giant Halal burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, loaded poutines and more. We decided to get: Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich DNA Burger Radiation Burger Karma Chicken Burger All the burgers are beastly, even the Chicken Burgers. And for sides there are fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings. When I say the burgers are beastly, its almost impossible to fit all the layers in your mouth at once. This can be a great thing for take-aways, but if you want to take on everything in one sitting be prepared to eat alot!
Pretty solid burgers. The spicy cheese chicken burger wasn’t spicy at all. Only reason why it isn’t 5 stars is because the fries are horrendously terrible. Super oily and just lacking sustenance.
I don’t like burgers, but this is the only burger place I will willingly eat at. The chicken burger tasted amazing. The chicken was very crispy and the sauce paired very well with it. It’s the first time I am craving burgers, and it’s all thanks to matts burger lab!
Very decent deal for lunch - burger, fries, and a pop at 12 bucks plus tax. I prefer thinner crispy fries over light and fluffy ones but the burger was solid and you really do get a ton of fries.
Loved their burger, had a Beef double patty burger with a Diet Pepsi. Burger bun was greatly done and beef patty was full of juice. Loved it till the very last bite.
