Bundoo Khan -Chicago

I was very hesitant to try this place but Boy, Am I glad I did. Everything we ordered was yummy.Service was slow but table attendant were good. Staff was friendly and super welcoming. Food takes time as nothing is precooked - they cook it just the way its at home.

Looking for authentic Pakistani food in Chicago, you need to check out Bundoo Khan ASAP! Walking on Devon Ave and noticed this place was packed and decided to give it a try and it was the best decision. The food was absolutely delicious. As you walk in to the restaurant you are welcomed with the amazing aroma of the freshly prepared kabobs. There is a glass wall and you can see the kabobs getting prepared. We didn’t have reservations so put our names on the gwaitlist. We were seated within 15 minutes. The place was super busy and rightfully so. We tried the zinger burger, highway chicken Karahi, grill meat platter, daal, and naan. I can’t rave about the food enough, it was perfectly cooked and the portions size was great. The dishes are so fresh and flavorful. The highway karahi is the star dish and a must try. The grill platter was also so good and kabobs were moist and not dry at All. Daal also tasted really good. The zinger burger was so tasty and juicy. Special mention for the fries, you can’t stop eating them. Check out Bundoo Khan to enjoy some traditional Pakistani dishes. Highly Recommend !

After a very long time I enjoyed the food, service and ambiance all at the same time at a Pakistani restaurant. The establishment is clean with tasteful decore, proper lighting and gorgeous paintings. I ordered Highway chicken karahi with beef behari kababs and naan.....absolutely delicious. The best part is service, from hostess to servers, all staff members were professionally dressed up and taking care of the customers. This kind of service is rare these days! If you are in town then do not miss having dinner at this restaurant.

On Sunday we 6 friends went to Bundoo Khan for a dinner whenever you are going to Bundoo Khan make sure you had to wait for at least 15-30 minutes for table. If you want to save your time order while you are waiting in waiting area so it couldn’t waste more time for you. Their taste is delicious and it’s the best restaurant in Chicago especially on Devon street. They had a variety of Pakistani cuisine. We ordered fries as a starter and then ordered highway’s chicken krahi, Chicken Tika, Behari boti and soft drinks. It’s expensive but yes taste is very good.

Ordered Kabab Platter, Highway Goat and Dry Chicken Karahi. Everything was amazing. Platter is must try. 4 starts because the staffs were pretty annoying. We were group of 4 people and were waiting for 4th person to arrive before ordering. They kept asking if were ready for order. Same thing after we were done eating. As soon as we were done, they asked for check. They were not even busy. May be 15% occupancy. Overall good restaurant with lots of amazing dishes and flavors.

Simply wow. Karahi is great, behari kabab is good, malai boti is not up to the mark and Biryani is ok but still its a good place to eat with family. Staff and customer service is fabulous.

They have a long wait time. I went there previously but didn’t eat as the wait time was around 40 minutes. Luckily this tome there was not wait time and we got the table right away. They don’t take reservation. The food are a little bit pricy. The amount is decent. Really liked their mixed grill platter. The kebabs were good. Didn’t like the chicken curry though. Naan was good. The overall service is good too.

This place is our goto place on Devon Avenue in Chicago Area for their juiciest beef behari kebab and chicken tikka. We also highly recommend trying their seekh fry and mutton karahi. This place has never disappointed us and we will always stop by Bundoo Khan whenever we are in the area. This place serves authentic Pakistani BBQ Food which is rarely found in the US. Tip: Get their delicious naan with the seekh fry and puri paratha will all other grilled items.

If any one wants to have an authentic taste of Pakistani karahi and BBq then there is no place better than Bundoo Khan on Devon street in Chicago. Excellent service with incredible taste is a dangerous combination. Keep it up guys.

Undoubtedly it’s way way better then Sabri nihari. Bundoo khan truly have flavor in their food. We ordered tikka kabab platter full on spicy and their malai boti and seekh kabab was beyond what words can say. And their naan were good as well & I love their highway karahi. Such a unique flavor and it’s spicy just the way we wanted. Whenever I’ll visit Chicago again would love to go back their and try some more food. Loved it.
