I moved from Calgary to Edmonton. 1 bedroom place me and my wife. Issue free move overall. They were very punctual and fast. Guys showed up at my place in both Calgary and Edmonton on time and did everything pretty efficiently!

SHADY COMPANY. Tell you one thing and do another. At first I was impressed and happy to be using them. That all changed once the deposit was given. Moving is stressful. Even more so when you got kids in the mix. So when I asked when they where going to be at my house. I would expect they show when they said they would. Instead they show up when they please. Once i was all loaded up. I signed my contract. 4 days later they show up at my new place. Again not when they said they would. Then to top it off they hand me a bill for $1000 more then the contract. For that kind of money I would have loaded a uhaul and drove my own stuff. Then to top it all off my alarm pad gets broking by the movers. I called Ron and told him I was not happy and he needed to take a look at why the extra cost and what he is going to do about damage. His answer to me was I'll get back to you. I never did hear from the guy and my visa got charged regardless. I would NOT ever recommend anybody use this company. I know I won't in my future moves.

I am not pleased at all. When they called and gave me the quote they told me it would be $285. Plus tax for a one room place to be moved. When they finished the fella said it would be $660. And because I paid cash they gave us gst off but could not give a receipt as it was a cash deal. Biggest f--ing rip off. The movers were good for the most part broke a few things. I will never use these guys again.
For professional movers they did not have a dollie or moving straps. Most of my boxes were labeled exactly were they needed to be delivered to in the new house (I did all my own packing and purchased all our boxes/totes), but over half the stuff ended up outside causing me to have to move many items into the house. And I had 1 friend helping, boxes/totes labeled kitchen were put in the master bathroom. Also Many boxes/totes were dropped on top of each other, smashing down other boxes/totes.
Table, desk, dresser, hopechest, filing cabinet & massage unit all left outside I had to ask friends to come help me. Because the mvers didn't even say if you wipe these down we can take them in. Duh!!! Beware

I would give them zero star if Google let me. Just don't call them for an estimate. Ron will non stop hassle you. Even I cancel our estimate appointment with them because I find a company I want to go with. Ron will keeps calling, texting and even show up at our house without an appointment on a Sunday afternoon. VERY VERY unprofessional. Here is one of the text from Ron "Can I stop by before you make a mistake and get hustled by a bandits". I just can't believe this I don't know how Ron can run a company or being in business for this long. I bet there is a lot of good people work there and they may good at what they do. But the way Ron approach a new customer is just unacceptable.

I was wary of the reviews when hiring Ron and his guys, however was informed that often people get so caught up in moving they forget to write reviews, and they move SO many people every year. Ron sat down with me at my kitchen table and told me it straight. I really appreciated his honesty and down to business attitude. He was incredibly easy to get ahold of, even came a day earlier than we had originally planned as per request on my part. I feel that often people become very rigid in their ideas on how a move should go and just like child birth, you have to be fluid and sometimes things don't go completely as planned. He explained that he could insure for an extra cost however was honest that often your insurance company covers complete loss which is true. And they cannot insure if they do not pack the boxes. Which realistically makes sense. Additionally I understand these people are human. Things happen, and things break, and moving is hard on everyone. I know if we had rented a Uhaul it would have been close to the same cost and Ooo boy the wrapping of each furniture piece would not have been done with such care. We did have a long haul move from Cochrane AB to Nanaimo. Ron was the only one who could do it 20 cents less a pound than other moves and it costed about half what it could have. He was within 20 lbs of his estimate. However we did cut fat HUGE as we knew we would have went over. I couldn't have been happier with how things went. Thanks Buhlers moving!
