U-Haul Moving & Storage at Barlow Trail

Worst experience ever. manager doesn't know to talk to customers answering in rude way placing fake charges on customers card and not even informing and when customer calls for inquiry customer service opens a case and managers without giving a call closes down a case saying customer agreed to pay charges.

I don't know why this place has gotten such a bad review. Service was quick and efficient t. Mind you I went there on a Monday morning. Got a nice city 15 footer that got the job done. Word to the wise: don't wait until the last minute to book a truck because they won't t have any at the end of the month or on a weekend of any given month. Book a monday off and do it then.

Unfortunately, I returned the truck "after hours" and because I did not take a PICTURE of the fuel gage, I was charged an excessive amount for extra gas because the employee inaccurately read the gas gage. Speaking with the management of this location did not fix the situation, they were cussing as well as consistently making up stories to attempt to cover their own tracks. I was told the truck had not been taken out again so I could check the gage for myself, later to find out it had been out twice since I had returned it. As well, the amount of KM I drove fluctuated between 140-200 km. The great deal I thought I was getting by choosing to move with U-HAUL did not turn out as I was promised and instead I was "RIPPED OFF". I would not trust this company to move again, which is sad because I worked for U-haul ten years ago when I was 19, as it was a good first job, and the customer service then was honest that being said things have changed a great deal.

Good vehicles, nice prices, but … The phone system sucks. All local phone numbers take you to an IVR that takes you in circles, or to a 1-800 number that is not available in Canada. There seems to be no way to talk to person at the local site. The web site does not seem to be much better. However, the Android mobile app does work very well, once you figure out how to understand the directions on how to use it.

This place has some of the best staff I've ever met for you all lots of selection lots of service lots of packing material everything you would need to make your move happen if you need to move you got to go to this location
