Buckhorn Campground & Resort

This place was tons of fun. The man who manages the campground and checked us in was really friendly and funny. My friends and I had a great time here. The pool and bathrooms were nice and clean. Overall, it was a great stay. I will note for people wondering, this is a far walk from the lake. I would recommend driving or using bikes or ATVs.

We absolutely love this campground. The owners are wonderful and everyone there is so helpful and friendly. Couldnt have found a better spot to spend our summers.

We have been permanent campers at this breathtaking campground for the past seventeen years and love it here. If you have not yet experienced a truly beautiful campground then you need to come visit and see for yourself. Jim, Jean and family are down to earth hard working friendly people who truly care about you and your time here. Looking up at the tall whispering pines swaying in the breeze while relaxing in our hammock is a heavenly sight to be seen! Come visit and you will not be disappointed!!!

This campground was AMAZING!! First I'll say the basics: the showers were very clean, this campground is truly pet friendly which was very nice, the pool was very clean (a little chilly the first day but perfect the next day), campsites are big, everyone that worked there would say hi and ask if you were enjoying your stay (which shows us they actually care). But what was the best was the lady we checked in with was so incredibly nice and....my husband took his ring off for the shower and left it in the shower, we are an hour down the road when he realized he didn't have it, we called them and they had a permanent camper hold it till we got there. WE GOT THE RING BACK!! This campground and permanent campers are honest, and good people. We will be coming back again!!!!!!!!!!!
