Castle Rock Hideaway

This was a lovely venue for large family gathering. There are newer cabins which are spacious and updated. There are also older cottages which I imagine are original to the property, and although small, are tidy, clean, and truly mid-century Wisconsin cottage retro! The website is accurate so you know which ones you are reserving. There is also a large central yard with picnic tables, grills, and a screened-in porch/ room which is in clear view of the play area. It was exceptionally helpful to be able to buy fishing licenses at the shop on site. We found the lodging owner and shop employees to be kind and accommodating. Of the 5 cottages we occupied, everyone had positive things to say and would look forward to returning another year.

Bait shop with crawlers and minnows, tackle and limited food, and cabins! New owners have plans to expand, very friendly and helpful. Very quaint location in mature pines about 1 mile from Castle Rock Campground, and boatlaunch.

The owners are very nice. The cabins were supplied with everything you need. There were plenty of firepits and grills for everyone. There was a screened in area which was nice. The only drawback was that the cabins are small. We enjoyed our stay there!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL, every cabin comes with a fire pit, and a grill (an actual grill not a park grill). This is an amazing escape from the business of any city, and yet it's not to far away eather. Each cabin also has a kitchen with all the cooking utensils to make your stay wonderful.
