Today at 9am, I witnessed a cashier, Deborah, go above and beyond for an elderly customer. She was very sweet. nnThe store has very good prices. I was there grabbing lunch for my partner and I for the second time. I would recommend, and I will be going again.
Not only do they have outrageous pricing PC brand mac and cheese 3 for $6 as a FLYER FEATURE while KD is a 3 for $4.98 as one of many examples but the staff do not bag your items, they do not know what they are doing half the time, but there are FLIES all over the baked goods and no one seems to care!nnOne of the worst grocery stores Ottawa!
Hello I’d like to say in advance this rating isn’t for independent it is for the pharmacy inside. I’ve been going to this pharmacy for my entire life 21 years now and I’ve never had a issue until recently… I went in to receive my medication from the pharmacy and for no reason whatsoever I received terrible services from one of the ladies. She was very rude for no reason what so ever, I treated her with nothing but respect and kindness but I definitely did not receive that in return. Unfortunately I didn’t get the name of said lady but I have a description she was maybe early 60s and I believe she was Lebanese with brown wavy hair with white streaks in it. Again I’ve never had and issues maybe I’ve just been lucky that I’ve never ran into said cashier it at the pharmacy but I know for next time if I see her at the cash I will not be dealing with her and will be asking for another cash lady not worth putting up with her rudeness.
Rib steaks I bought on Dec 2 best until Dec 6 were rotten on Dec 3rd. I was about to cook the steaks I picked up here yesterday for my family and they were rotten, bad smell ans brown marks all over them.nnI could not find the receipt so they could only offer a gift card. I normally avoid extreme ripoff Loblaw stores in general, but there was a good deal on steak.nnNot happy at all.nnDisgusting meat dept. I will never purchase meat at any Loblaws owned stores.
Clean, well-organized store with a great selection and friendly staff. The prepared meals are excellent and convenient when you need to grab a quick bite to eat. Overall the shopping experience is consistently positive.
